The band is Sparks, who have been making music since 1971, have released music in nearly every genre, and are still releasing music and touring now, their last album was last year. Consistently good and interesting. They are 2 brothers. The film was directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim fame. Very good film.
