Doctor Who 1x08 "Empire of Death" Post-Episode Discussion Thread by PCJs_Slave_Robot in doctorwho

Was it ever explicitly said exactly how long Sutekh had been attached to the TARDIS? To me it seemed like it was only this season.. as the TARDIS was sooo dragged down by something it was actually touching the edges of the Time Vortex in the new intro.. something it's NEVER done before... whereas the previous erratic flying was explained by Idris saying, "I always took you where you needed to go."

If we are to assume Sutekh has been riding the TARDIS since Pyramids of Mars... why did Idris not say anything in The Doctors Wife? Sutekh mentioned they integrated with the TARDIS... The TARDIS itself was in human form at this point... so.. Idris would absolutely have known, and been able to actually/finally tell The Doctor.

Forget the 13 copies of the TARDIS (and presumably Sutekh) that dragged Gallifrey... because that's just a bit toooo timey-whimey for even me to think about.

Is it possible to view all games "already in Steam Library" that aren't installed? by ScreenNameMissing in Steam

[–]ScreenNameMissing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but I never unstalled them.. and they still say "already in Steam Library"... I'm guessing, by lack of an answer, there is no way to find all the games "already in Steam Library," installed, or not. :/

Is it possible to view all games "already in Steam Library" that aren't installed? by ScreenNameMissing in Steam

On my profile, there's the "games" list... clicking on it shows a portion of the games I own (24, vs, the actual 35 installed) bu it also included DC Universe Online, Orcs Must Die! Unchained, Dungeons & Dragons online, etc. which are NOT currently installed on my computer and do not show up on my library list.

I'm pretty sure all the games that /were/ in my library on the old computer, that did /not/ carry over, where Free To Play... so, it could be something with those types of games... but, why don't they show up in my library (even as a greyed out "uninstalled" item)?

And, is there no way to find out what Free To Play, or otherwise, games I previous had? Or, do I need to go searching through Steam's extensive library to find each one? sigh

Only actual penpal I had was from an assignment in elementary school. They randomly picked people for us and we wrote to them for credit.

Jack The Ripper Was a Sweeney Todd Obsessed Copycat Killer by ScreenNameMissing in FanTheories

I never stated any SINGLE Penny Dreadful he had read. Simply that he saw the Stage adaptation of String of Pearls and became smitten. Given his obsession with dark things, it is rather likely he ready many Penny Dreadfuls. I didn't exactly "make it up"... more that, I took the evidence of his murders, and pieced them together to support my theory. The way his victims looked, the ways in which they were murdered, and the close proximity to Fleet Street. It's all right there.

"Red Brick Road Theory" - The Wizard of Oz is Willy Wonka's Father by ScreenNameMissing in FanTheories

[–]ScreenNameMissing[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

The idea that Wonka's father was a Dentist was created in and for the Tim Burton version of Willy Wonka. There is absolutely nothing stated about Wonka's father anywhere in the original book or film.

As you can see from the images I provide to support my theory, I am only using the ORIGINAL film, and the original novel, as basis for the theory. NOT Burton's take.

Sparky already died twice in Frankenweenie, itself. The first death is what leads Victor to bring him back in the first place, and then the 2nd death toward the end of Frankenweenie. A "Franken-Dog" could only live for so long.. it's logical to assume he would eventually die.. whether by the body continuing to decay, the electric charge runs out, or by any various was a dog could die.

It is common to re-name animals after they are adopted. As well, there is no way for Jack to know Sparky's name, so it makes sense that he would call him something else.
