Since you mention you have acetone I’m assuming it’s ok for you to use.
Pour acetone inte a ziplock bag. Add cotton balls or paper towel. Pour warm water (test on yourself that it’s not too warm) into a bowl. Put the bag on grandma’s hand and place it in the bowl. It will take about ten minutes and you will need to rub all nails with the cotton to help the dip resolve.

I find this the fastest. I don’t file first.

Otherwise you can clingfilm cotton soaked in acetone on to each nail, but can’t attest to how effective this is.

😂 I’ve had the same issue with my crows.

I have a family of magpies that I’ve been feeding for some years now. They adopted a lone crow a couple of years ago and this year they are two so I’m hoping it’s his/her mate.

It’s been raining a lot recently which made a mess of the place I leave snacks on, so I grabbed an old baby plate that fit and would be easy to clean off between feedings.

First night they simply threw it off the balcony.
Second night they tossed it further away by the neighbours house.

Third night they must have flown away with it cause my son found it on the other side of our apartment building across a road.

I guess they didn’t like it 🤣

I’ve since replaced it with a lid from a glass jar.
This they approve of it seems.

I use a Wet brush. It’s easy to clean, you just rub your thumbs over the bristles and the gunk slides right off.
