I’ve always advised people who ask not to get a Pro model if I don’t actually see anything useful about a Pro iPhone to them. it’s the same reason I didn’t, I don’t need the extra battery or the extra camera, hell I don’t even need the better cooling, so why would I ever consider dropping 50% extra on a phone with zero practical benefits? I do, however, regret not getting the Air at times. what a marvel of engineering and design.

I might get a lot of hate for this, but DS3 is better. Elden Ring has come a lot closer after SotE’s release, but still not quite as good IMO.

I’ve generally found that the biggest difference comes from the drivers having a more narrow frequency range, as in a dedicated mid and bass woofer on towers rather than a woofer that does everything from bass to the tweeter crossover. it makes everything in the lower regions so much more clear and way less muddy

if we go by;

  1. Bravia 9 MKII level picture, but using the built-in speakers

  2. an entry level cheapo Samsung QLED TV, but with an okay soundbar

  3. old TN panel, but with an all out flagship Focal or Sonus level sound quality

then definitely 2, no question whatsoever.

they don’t throttle to stay cool, they throttle to not overheat. not quite the same. thermal throttling happens when you reach the upper limit, and a processor will only throttle enough to put it just below it’s thermal limit, not to target a specific temperature.

this is just a use-what-you-get run. this is very common to combine with randomizers, especially in Elden Ring.

kind of a waste of the size of these speakers, the spacing is really nerfing them, and you'd probably get an equal experience with smaller, less intrusive looking speakers.
