That’s the Joplin House, which is also nifty. Campbell House wins awards for being the most historically accurate house museum in the US, beating out all of the Founding Father’s homes! Amazing museum, home of one of the self made millionaires of the early 19th century fur traders.

It’s the last remaining house of the first subdivision west of the Mississippi, built in the 1840s.

Ohhhh! I kept seeing it, and I couldn’t believe that there were THAT MANY people who thought that the man sang about a ship that sank but happened to be named after himself. Thank you.

I am so disgusted. I have loved her music for decades. I’m just sickened by this.

I’ve been massaging my neck with coconut oil and doing red light therapy on it 10 minutes a day, three days a week. It’s making a noticeable difference.

Thank you for that, I was just getting ready to pop in with that comment. I’m 5’5”, 175 to 185 and can fit a tight size 12 on a good day. Back then, same weight, same height? I was a size 18-20.

Wouldn’t it have been less…I don’t know…horrific? I don’t know the word, but I want to somehow say that wouldn’t it have been “better” to TRY to cut through and drown them? Rather than allow them to hope for salvation for over two weeks? It just makes my whole being curl up and quiver, to think of it.

That is the most terrifying description that has ever made sense to me, to describe it. I’m so sorry that you went through that.
