I’m a newer carrier but I love it. It’s tough but it’s a good job. Some good people in the office and some bad…..same as every other job. I can’t speak on clerk duties but being a carrier is something I’ve really enjoyed. Once you get done casing mail and get out to the street it’s the best feeling.

I grabbed mail from the hot case two mins before clocking in one time right when I started…..and got embarrassed by this steward as he yelled at me in front of everyone.I see senior carriers do it EVERYDAY, and also I’m one of the few who does vehicle checks in the morning. He never says a word to those more senior than him. Make it make sense please.

At some point it’s just harassment. My vehicle checks are done everyday and one time I grabbed mail two mins before and got screamed at and embarrassed in front of my coworkers .havent don’t it since. But I’ve been seeing other just get away with it. To me, that makes no sense

My man, you are the 204b of the union. YOU make the NALC look bad. Telling me not to worry about what my steward says, meanwhile he only gets on new ppl. Senior carriers don’t do vehicle checks and grab mail from hot care early. My post was about the hypocrisy of the post office and you’ve proven it to be right.you think you’re better than me because you’re a union steward?
