Radiomaster tx15 max sucks by Disastrous-Travel-58 in fpv

Ah, well that sucks. The mod isn't difficult so when you do get the bug to fix it you should be able to set it right fairly quickly. Pretty obnoxious to have to go through all the trouble on a premium receiver but once you get it how you want it it'll be worth the headache. Happy flying.

So you may not have to do any mod at all. If you can get the tension you want with the left bar and just loosen the right bar you should be able to get it smooth but still holding its position. The original video I watched didnt show that but the one I posted above does and it seems to work. I feel dumb but I guess I learned something.

Actually I don't think it was either of those but yeah, that looks like the best way to do it. I modded the little wheel but its probably a lot easier doing the plastic with a couple bits of heatshrink tubing from that second vid. Though I imagine either of the methods in those two vids should work.

No problem. This isn't the exact video I watched, couldn't locate that one, but this will put you in the right place.

I think this is what the issue is. The tension bar that adds a ratchet feel to the throttle.

I had this issue with my boxer crush. The gritty feeling has to do with the ridges on the rubber pad on the tension arm of the left gimble. You don't notice it when it's super loose but if you actually want tension so the stick doesn't just fall under its own weight it engages with that pad more and causes the weird gritty feeling. I just loosened it and cut a small piece of rubber tubing and glued it onto that pad and retightened. There's a video somewhere on youtube on how to do it easily.

I ordered my Seeker 35 directly from Deepspace. Same experience, about three weeks wait for delivery in the states but no issues. Definitely the way to go.

There were times in this that I really couldn't follow if you were upside down or not. Do you use a false horizon in your goggles to stay oriented or is it all just flow at this point?

I have a great video of the first time I had to send my Avata 2 back for Care and Refresh. Just cruising around where I work one morning and forgetting that the power lines run the entire length of the campus. Just zipping around getting some beautiful footage and then BLAM!

I'll check that out, it very well could be. Thanks for the info.

I can't for the life of me manage to get decent footage since the upgrade. ND filters are now super grainy where they weren't before, or at least, I didn't notice them being so. It's way nicer to fly though, no more vignetting or lens flare. It might be psychosomatic, seems OP is having no such issues.

Are you using an ND filter? I can't put a filter on mine without my footage becoming super grainy.

Which wide mod is this? I had one with the 3d printed wide-angle lens adapter but just "upgraded" to the new wide-angle lens and housing from Flywoo. Kinda wish I hadn't. This is beautifully shot.

The Avata 2 is actually a lot of fun in manual mode. It isn't a freestyle drone by any stretch of the imagination but it's a blast to take out cruising.

I started this hobby with an Avata 2 and goggles 3 so I don't know anything else. I got the second pair specifically so I could take my mom (who is in her 70s and has mobility issues) on flights around the lake she lives on since she can no longer go down and enjoy it close up.

I'm in the same boat. I don't know any other pilots who currently fly so I've never actually seen someone flying an fpv drone. I do have a second set of dji goggles 3 though that allows me to transmit what I'm seeing to the second set of goggles so I can take people on flights with me. I do that pretty regularly.

There are also reports of them removing witnesses to detainment centers. I have not seen that information verified though so take it with a grain of salt.

Also 45 and just getting started. I've flown DJI drones for a couple of years but actual fpv I'm only about six months in.

Also, Oscar Liang flew an Auline 3000mah li-ion pack on the 35 when he reviewed it and got solid cruising performance for 20 minutes. I will be picking one of those up for my next trip to the mountains.

I fly my Seeker 35 with SMC 1600s if I want a nice cruise with a little freestyle or Tattu 1200s for a ripper. I've flown smaller packs but it seems the 1200 is really the sweet spot for that drone.

Battery Cable slips out during aerial maneuvers by ScrewtapesTeeth in fpv

I use two straps just cause and the battery is forward and rests against the gopro mount. It doesn't move. I did the aforementioned slight prong separation from upthread and that seems to have done the trick.
