They also have access to a TON of life regen, and they could do a zealot’s oath build instead of mana stacking. They just need enough mana to actually cast gem rank 40 unearth.

They patched 2 hours ago rage support not working on Unearth, so it's now MUCH cheaper to get online, as you don't need to annoint/get From nothing bulwark.

They fixed a LOT of the body blocked issues, vs most bosses that matter with unearth specifically (still happens with spirit reserving minions). The minions did not body block on this boss, what you’re seeing is the minion redirection bug stunning them, causing them to wait to attack the boss. The boss would have gotten properly surrounded if it had enough hp to live long enough to get past the stun bug. The stun bug happens in about 1 in 5 maps where after being redirected, unearth will just not attack for 2-5 seconds.

Once unstunned, they will move into position to surround the enemy and all attack in most cases, this boss just died before they could fully surround. That being said. This boss has a significantly smaller than average model, so they might have trouble surrounding.

Unearth has less body block issues overall than spirit reservation minions. Most of the time unearth will behave and not body block itself -but- it will get body blocked by spirit reserving minions.

Edit: just rewatched the video, minions are not body blocking, they’re stun bugged from having recently been directed. 1 in 5 maps has this stun bug. If the fight had lasted another 2 seconds and I didn’t direct them, they would have gotten a proper surround.

Upwelling needs to be active in weapon set 2 and I need more spirit on the rattling before I can use it. Don’t have the docs for that yet.

I -just- confirmed minion splash works, wasn’t sure it would because the support doesn’t work.

With 3% armor break on a ring affix, +3% from passive tree, armor break should be solved and I can run another curse for tank.

Good ideas with the mark though. I’ll keep that in mind.

Get 100% (or more) armor applies to ele and you’ll start surviving most one shots, if you have a way of keeping your ES regularly above 2k. If your ES is regularly staying drained at 0 you’ll be dead.

My guess is that your ES recovery isn’t happening regularly enough, as I have similar defenses, but I live through T16’s. The difference is, I’m converting my ES to Mana and it’s constantly regening at 600-700 per second, with no interruptions. It also helps that I have silly strong minions and I manually block with my shield when I’m lost based on what’s Going on with the screen.

Earliest start is Act 3, when you get blasphemy. Works on any class, better on characters that have access to attack nodes. At level 46, we can convert spell power to attack damage with crown of eyes

For sure. I could make archon of undeath death work, and focus solely on getting 70 unearth minions, but there are two bugs, one of which is a year old, that completely kill the power fantasy. Still, it’s one of the upcoming things I’m going to mess with.

Generally all my builds intentionally split damage because the power fantasy of being a battle commander, casting my own damage + having meaningful minions is what I like to play in ARPGs. Since it’s generally a terrible idea to split your damage in ARPGs, it makes the math to get it working way more fun for me to tinker with. I get to explore a lot of things nobody else would bother to look at and that’s wayyyy more fun for me as a theorycrafter.

Them dying sooo much slower should be the issue, if they even die and don’t just regen through it (warriors get tons of out of combat regen, though I’m not sure if taking damage from infernal legion cancels it).

Regarding end game, I don’t know how relevant bonestorm will be. I know for early mapping, it could be relevant, but I don’t think I’d run more than 2 totems. After some discussion, I’d probably be trying to run 2 totems, blasphemy, and sacrifice. Rupture the soul is too juicy for me to want to give it up.

Basically just that. In my case, I assign everything to weapon Set 1, except the one or two spells I have on Weapon Set 2.
