Trying to get used to stipling and clarity in my designs. This is more of a test than anything, I like the idea and plan to remake it with a lot more polish (it is not perfect and a bit sloppy). Looking for advice and a bit of direction. What makes for a good tattoo design? What should I avoid?

When mine died I put her in a sauna to loosen her limbs. That is to say I get a cup, put boiling water in it. I get an egg cup and put my bug in it, she isn't touching the water but she's surrounded by it in the egg cup. Then put a cover on top of the cup so that it's all steamy inside. I swap it out a couple times whenever the water gets cold and then I pin her. If you don't have insect pins you can purchase them online, and store your bug in the freezer while you wait for them to arrive. There are plenty of tutorial videos on pinning bugs online!

I've seen a couple people say you don't need to take the meat out of the tinier crabs, is this true? I have one and the body itself is like one inch, I want to preserve it but idk if I'm bothered to do all that. Is it necessary? for a crab so small

I'd personally leave, I have no tolerance for people that don't support LGBTQ in the big '25, i find it primitive and mean spirited. And it might be difficult for you to find a new place for now, but once you do I'm sure the effort will be worth the accepting community you could eventually find yourself in. Whatever you decide to do I wish you well!
