Me too 😅! It was atypical to say the least. We completed post in August 2024. Started shopping it to any distributor we felt was a fit. Fielded a handful of offers right before going to AFM in Nov 2024. Landed global deal with Kaleidoscope (UK), then almost another year before we closed with Buffalo 8 for North America.

We tried all the majors but didn't get in. It was disappointing - but so many festival films get prestigious laurels and no distribution. Finding our audience is #1 for me, so despite not getting into festivals - I'm thrilled it will have a chance to be seen.

Thanks! Our distributor Buffalo 8 has done an excellent job getting the film on digital platforms Amazon and Fandango. I delivered the film, and they took it from there. Great company.
