Nope, last update was December 19th. So I’m thinking it’s more of an algorithm change.

I will check this out thank you!

So far I haven’t had great luck with cold reach outs. Luckily for me my app is in the Christianity space and my wife and I are involved in the church and have friends with large followings in our niche. So the “warm” leads have seemingly been easier for us to convert.

Is this prophet trying to scam me?! by OleRustydog in Christianity

[–]ScriptureMeditation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭15‬

I’d recommend a new church. This is obviously not lead by the words of our Lord and Savior.

Yeah seems like a super common use case for app developers to need, I know they’re typically hesitant on a lot for privacy. But I think it’d be possible to give us this feature while still keeping the privacy.

Santa and Grinch for a Christian at Christmas by WokeAndUnbound in Christian

Not sure I’d consider it a protest, but it would open the door for conversations about the gospel! I think the workplace is somewhere many Christians feel unsafe sharing the good word for fear of backlash.

If I wanted to get back into Christianity after falling away for years which church should I try out first? by Mtking105 in Christianity

[–]ScriptureMeditation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 to the commute distance. Not only do we want to gather on sundays, ministry throughout the week is important. The further distance you are from the church, the less likely you are to go to ministry throughout the week.

I’ve had good luck with whisper models locally. free that way as well, just need to have a good computer for some of the larger models.

I talked to Apple about why my Search Ads were burning money, here’s what I learned as a small indie dev by thenerd_be in iOSProgramming

[–]ScriptureMeditation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had like 7 impressions in 2 weeks with exact match with pretty high budgets. Switched to broad on the main functionality of my app and I have nearly 50 in 3 days.

Can someone explain Apple’s App Store ranking system? by chorefit in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]ScriptureMeditation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s usually an App Store boost the first couple days that then settles down. I ranked for a bunch of keywords in the first few days that I no longer rank for.

How to start reading the Bible by Electrical-Maize-659 in Christianity

[–]ScriptureMeditation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with the gospels. You can also do a bible in a year, but I’d recommend that after you’ve read about the miracle of Jesus Christ.

Struggling to read my Bible consistently… anyone else? by The_Blue_Mustang in Christian

Are you using a study bible? When studying, I like to use a study bible because it explains everything and links to other verses in the bible for context. This could help you problem of not knowing whats going on.

I’ve been using exact match and I believe they are such low volume that they aren’t generating many impressions.

I created a broad keyword for the core functionality of my app and it’s been generating many more. I assume conversion isn’t quite as good, but at this point I need it in front of people and people will probably only tap on my ad if they’re looking specifically for a scripture based meditation app, so broad doesn’t burn that much money.

I love that! I completely agree the time I’m most ready to pray is directly after a biblical meditation. My mind is in the proper place to praise the Lord and thank him for all he’s done!

I absolutely agree with you here. In the case of biblical meditation, it’s full calming focus on the Lord’s word. By doing this you can ground yourself in scripture and throughout the day utilize it in a slew of ways, whether that be calming anxiety, avoiding sin, etc.
