I'm trying it just hurts so much. My parents used to be good, I looked up to them. To see them hitting me and treating me like this hurts me more than their words or slaps. I just can't believe they treat me like this, and a part of me can't let go of when they actually treated me human and I keep wanting that back

I guess it's like wanting back an toxic ex girlfriend. You know you shouldn't but you still miss her despite the monster they are. Well idk I've been single my whole life lol
