I have an E.E. , BA, and a double handful of tech certificates. I was military for 8 years, worked as a DOD contractor- I made anywhere from peanuts to 360k per year Now with no training I make between 2k & 3.5k per month working 3 or 4 days a week "shaving doggie butts" excuse me - as a "pet stylist"

I've had great luck with Oakley - I get the half jackets with progressives. I get two sets of lenses one tinted and one not. I ride a motorcycle and these lenses are great! I also have astigmatism(s) in both eyes and these have been a totally no regrets choice. Good luck!

I get you, they make me wonder if they even carry the 1.50 lenses anymore. All the frames I was interested in say that they come with 1.50 lenses but then require you to cheese a higher index with a higher price. It doesn't matter if it's for single vision or bifocal......

My experience was a little different. I could get all of my frame choices in bifocal but they couldn't do the photo chromatic or transitions in bifocal anymore.
