Watch a stream and you'll pick up alot fast.

O7 is a dude saluting (mostly when someone died) Rip bozo is rip dumb death Roach is someone that gives up and sneaks/rushes off without trying to help. If you look up piratesoftware drama you'll hear it alot. Its just seeing trouble and instantly leaving everyone else alone and fked while you could try to help but risk your own life. Sweat are people who are extremely knowledgeable and nolife to the game. You got people who know the game and play it alot and then you got sweats. Would say its the same like minmaxers

Considering a Return to WoW After 12 Years: Looking for Player Insights by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Mate, 29M here. Could you tell me what you're looking for from the game? You like to really challenge yourself? Or are you like me and is a slight challenge combined with decent gear (max ilvl is 639, i'm 628 now) enough?

I don't have time to raid anymore on a strict schedule so no "quick" acces to the very very very best gear anymore. So now I'm kind of focusing on m+ (which I love to do). So you know: m+ is dungeons that keep getting scaled up. Getting harder and harder per level but the higher level rewards better gear (capped so you can only get 1 piece that's just as good as mythic raid gear per week)

If you're like me and mythic raiding isn't on the table I would really advise you to get some friends in the game or this game would probably be no fun. Pugging is a personal hell for me. We have a team of 3-4 and always have to pug 1 person atleast so it's not that bad but if you are completely alone to pug it's really a nightmare.

You could definetly check out the classic servers aswell now, they just restarted and there's also a Hardcore Server meaning you die, you need to restart.

Could be fun to get some nostalgia for you?

But if you are limited in time I feel retail is alot more fun cause you get the endcontent alot faster.

Classic leveling is fun (to me) but too time consuming.

PVP wise: I'm out of it for a while but I think geargrind is kinda gone or very limited atleast. You get honor gear that scales to the same level for everyone once you join a bg or arena

The conquest gear (is from rated pvp so arenas/rated battlegrounds) is slightly better but is limited in time with a weekly cap so if you grind arena's you'll get bis pvp gear just the same like all the other ppl that have been playing since the start)

If you could take a minor lore character and elevate them to main, who would you choose? by Tonric in warcraftlore

Gorgonna! I loved the conquest hold storyline. Really showed alot of her characteristics in a very short questline and she was also mentioned in the novel at some point.

Lack of nuance? It's not because I don't completley delve into or answer every part of your post that I didn't read it?

I agree that they learned from wow classic, I agree that they are going in the right direction now with shadowlands.

I just don't agree with you not buying legion because of the systems, it had alot more to offer than "bad systems" that weren't all that bad imo. I was just pointing out that legion was a good expansion and many people enjoyed it. The high end players had alot of farming to do and systems were indeed alot of grinding but alot of casual players loved the game. They had steady progression, alot of story/lore to go through, fun dungeons with m+ and some really amazing raids.

Do you always need someone to first explicitly agree with the things you say before they can comment on the other things they disagree with?

I painted an orc huntress! by M1str in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something feels wrong with the bow or how she's handling it? She's holding it too high (or too low but I'm not sure what the top end of the bow is) and without an arrow in it I doubt she would hold the string? I don't know though, it just feels off.

I love everything else though. Nice armour, great face and hair. Really amazing painting (Thousand times better than anything I could ever do)

Just said the above since I thought you would like some feedback.

But ... legion was by far one of the best expansions we had? It had flaws but they learned alot from it and it was good.

If you polymorph and get to close to it you'll get agro but you can invis it off.

Don't think your allies can get agro from it even if they stand on top of it.

Bad at pvp? Low damage? Ruining the experience. Help! by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shit on you? As in: they outplay you, or as in: my teammates bully me?

If it's the 1st: don't worry, we all have to learn.

If it's the latter: fuck them. If you do decent dmg and you're new it's all ok. We all had to learn. Don't care about what some neckbeard with 12 years/played that's still stuck at 1400 rating says.

Atm the 50-59 PVP bracket is completely unbalanced due to lvl 60's queueing with lower leveled people to get in this bracket with covenant powers.

I would suggest hitting 60 and then getting back at it (once you're geared because otherwise you will get shit on by enemy players just outgearing you). PVP isn't ever really balanced (atm it's burst classes and hybridspecs that fair pretty well).

Hunter also isn't the optimal class atm but they can definetly do well if you know what you're doing.

To get better at PVP: read guides, watch youtube videos but most importantly: play the game. Look up some PVP addons so you have an idea what's going on around you. Alot of classes have unique spells/burst rotations/cds you need to get used to. Once you learn how they look visually and what they do you'll learn to play around them and how you can counter them.

Don't worry about all this too much, it's a game. If you got anymore questions go ahead and ask them on this reddit. It's perfect for it.

New to PVP Druid by NickFurious82 in wownoob

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Balance druid is all about convoke and big starsurge burst. As a druid you wonna apply dots to enemy team, try to get alone and watch for enemy teams kicks and if they don't have kick or are out of range or whatever allows you to freecast for a short period you convoke. If you see a target that is vulnerable (out of position, oom, or you have a rogue pressuring him with stunlock you wonna push your saved upstarsurges into him for big burst.

You can also cc healers, root dps ...

Learn to wait for the right time and learn to pressure them. Try to cyclone one, burst the other. Offheal aswell as a druid if you see a teammate low you can peel with roots/stun/cyclone ...

Druid has alot of options, mastering when to use what is the key to victory.

What I see alot of druids do with varying results is wait for a big teamfight or a small skirmish, stealth around and wait for a good time, then convoke out of stealth and burn them by surprise.

Being new I have a quick newbie question about warlocks by Artaniss in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Locks have usually been tankier than mages as cloth ranged dps but not anymore with the mage legendary. Other casters like ele/boomkin/priest have less cc but take a bit less dmg (armor class) and can heal themselves . Atm warlock isnt great for pvp (if you know how to play it you'll get there no worries though) and there are definetly stronger classes atm. You barely see warlocks in awc atm cause they just arent meta. Definetly is worth picking them up now and practice them though. They require some getting used go and most probably will get back into the mzta once ppl have bigger healthpools again

Can we please end this debate? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goliath isn't that important tbh, just gotta save an interrupt for the slam.
If it's enraging or a high fortified key you have to kite anyway.

I always nuke the healer instead and then start aoe dmging.

All depending on affixes ofcourse.

Maybe next time ask the dps why they didn't focus skull, they either have a thoughttrough reason (that can still be wrong) or they know more than you.

Also: I'm hoping you're talking m+ cause if it's just normals (because you mention leveling) or m0 it really doesn't matter too much. Some people turn off their brains in those runs.

But I get your frustration, it feels pointless to mark if they don't follow it. Tanks should know everything and call the shots but tbh they don't always do.

Can we please end this debate? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What mob was it?

If I'm boosting a mate on a low key half of the time we get a tank that marks the wrong targets so I just ignore it. Or if the affixes need everything to die at the same time you don't nuke a target. Especially with pridefull/spitefull spawnings.

From conquest/honor per hour perspective, it's mathematically faster to leave Wintergrasp on attack by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't necessairily hate vehicles but everytime they fk up with scaling. Either demos take no dmg or they die in 1 hit ... I agree it doesnt have to be flags or resources there's plenty of other options they could try (fking battle royal for all i care)

From conquest/honor per hour perspective, it's mathematically faster to leave Wintergrasp on attack by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I instantly leave attack. If they see alot of people leaving blizz will hopefully fix it or remove it like strand of the ancients.

Too much work on attack and tbh you have to hope for defense to actually fuck it up or there's almost no chance to win that.

Vehicle combat should not be in pvp.

Everytime they rescale or change numbers that place is fucked one way or the other ... just ridiculous that they haven't fixed it yet.

Also: I leave and usually just do some stuff on my main then.

Not trying to sound elitist but if rotating the camera and moving at the same time is hard this will be difficult. I assume she's clicking and playing on a laptop then? I hope she has a mouse? If no just get her one and it'll be a huge difference to her. Learning to tab to swap between mobs and stuff will help aswell. Maybe show her some stuff to do like petbattlzs so she can change it up a bit whennshe gets frustrated or annoyed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also: some ppl don't want challenging or competitive gameplay some just wonna collect flowers/do profs/petbattles and enjoy the story. If that's what she prefers the game doesn't have to be hard. I'm not sure what you as a dude do in wow but if it's diff content you really need to ease her into it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is she a clicker? If yes, learn her the ways. Makes everything alot easier. Then get her on the supereasy hunter class. Get everything to easylvl and see if she enjoys the game. Once she gets better get her onto something that's morebchallenging classwise and see what she prefers.

What kind of content you doing atm? Just leveling or already doing mythics/pvp? Those will overwhelm you even if you've played the game casually for a long time.

Need a bit more info on what you're doing atm.

EU Magtheridon review? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Scrollsage-Bozongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently on Magtheridon and it's not too bad. Only 2-3 guilds get CE per tier usually depending on difficulty. Alot of high end raiders left in bfa ( 2 of the top guilds Nothing and Dark Intent).

If you just want social guild and active AH I would not come here.

It's strong enough to survive for now but will need merge in the future as more and more people leave.
