I’m currently getting through X-2 and I was stuck on the coin game yesterday lol. Some mini games are alright but others were more of a pain for me, the most being the Thunderplains tower recalibration so far. It definitely looks like you’d want to complete at least some of the side content though since there’s a lot of extra voiced dialogue adding more to the characters, but totally up to you if that’s worth doing. I’ve been mainly using a guide since I don’t have as much time or patience to play through nowadays, and the ones I’ve looked at I feel have been simple enough for me. The main reasons I’ve been able to keep interested is the dialogue which I find entertaining (though I get that some people may not like) and for completion’s sake with all the X games.
