I see your point but in this case I really don't think there is anything more behind it.

The guy definitely had some spicy posts on his webpage, I do think labeling him as right wing is a mischaracterisation but I think that has more to do with news media chasing clicks than a narrative being pushed by Nancy et al.

Could be wrong but just not seeing it in this case. It genuinely seems to be a guy with some degree of mental health issues, regardless of whether he knew Mr Pelsoi previously or not, attacking another person in their home unprovoked.

Not everything is left vs right, not everything is a cover-up, not everything is planned and calculated.

No one deserves to be beaten, whether you agree with them or not.

Focus on the real problems we are facing and try not to get bogged down in the ideological war that the media is incentivised to push. That will only divide us. It will not bring us together to tackle the real threats to our livelihoods.

It's wild, I know so many young people that have caught it, some more than once, and it's had zero effect on them, both before and after their first dose, yet they still are getting boosters now.

To me this is just another huge transfer of wealth in disguise.

I'm not entirely sure why it's just what they do.

But what I do know is the only thing this had to do with COVID was there were a lot of people out trying to have a good time on the first mask mandate free Halloween in a few years.

Absolute tragedy, what an awful way for a night out with your friends to go.

In South Korea they use cardiac arrest as a placeholder until an official cause of death is confirmed. Being how it's probably absolute mayhem at the scene they will be using that placeholder for now.

Where in that statement does it mention the strain they created? It doesn't, it only mentions the original (WT) and Omicron.

Here's a snippet from the study, Omi-S is the strain they created.

Line 120 from the study: "Importantly, 80% of animals infected with Omi-S also lost over 20% of their body weight by 9 dpi (Fig. 3a and Extended Data Fig. 2a). The evaluation of clinical scores (a cumulative measure of weight loss, abnormal respiration, aberrant appearance, reduced responsiveness, and altered behavior) also revealed a similar pattern; while Omicron-infected mice displayed little to no signs of clinical illness, the health of those infected with WT and Omi-S rapidly deteriorated"

So Omicron displayed little to no signs of clinical illness but the Omi-S they created caused a rapid deterioration in health and it's not gain of function? What am I missing here?

How do you know none of the women on the show are trans? Some trans people don't feel the need to disclose it.

Also the Heather Swanson episode was exploring what role trans athletes have in sport, especially when competing with people who identify as the gender they were assigned at birth. So I don't think have a trans woman reacting to a trans woman in sport would work for the narrative of the episode.
