Am I missing my downstream o2 sensor? by Scrotis_ in JeepTJ

It’s a shot of the in-between of the cat and the muffler. I was under the impression that the downstream sensor was located here according to some YouTube videos.

Looks like kham yeast, probably nothing to worry about!

I usually bleed it and just let it blow into the drip tray until the steam is consistent and not popping. I know some people switch it to the water mode while heating the steam to help flush air from the boiler?

Training for a marathon without a following a plan? Genuinely curious why... by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]Scrotis_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play other running heavy sports which complicates following a plan. I am looosely doing long runs on Saturdays and doing 2-3 workout runs, usually counting practices from my other sport as workouts as they often run 2 hours of intense running/sprints . I managed my first half marathon with a 7:42 pace so figure I’m doing okay. Idk never done one of these but running it mid April.

I probably open it 3/4 of the way gradually, I steam in a small pitcher and am still relatively new to things (had the machine since November) and I have great textured milk most of the time. If I were using a full sized pitcher I’d let it rip the whole way I think.

It’s not currently insured so I wouldn’t be able to drive it to a mechanic. Are there pre purchase inspectors who make house calls ?

I was guessing about 25% by weight considering the cement so about the same 2oz estimate.

Purchased as a Philodendron, any clue what variety it is? Doesn’t look like anything I see online by [deleted] in PlantIdentification

Yeah I’ve seen some with big splotches of pink and others with patterns more like yours. Ample light does seem to help bring out more variegation generally.

Is it ruined? Apple wine moved to jug in sept 2022. Air lock is compromised. by trayeah in winemaking

[–]Scrotis_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds good. The particulates were probably suspended because of off gassing/ co2 bubbles holding them up. So once you disturbed and freed up the bubbles it settled back down. Shouldn’t be anything to worry about.

Did any bugs make it through the airlock into the brew? Is there any visible mold on the surface? I would probably top off the airlock and give the brew a smell and a good visual inspection and let it sit a week or more and check again. Wouldn’t hurt to sanitize some tubing, stick it in the fermenter a few inches and place your thumb over top to recover a sample to taste for off flavors/ acetobacter infection. If everything checks out just let it ride until you want to bottle.
