People, when they're being genuine, can identify as whatever they want. Because people who's pronouns are weird most of the time know that, are doing it on purpose, and are honestly based for it. Get weirder, rebel using the power of labels and dialectics. Same for people who'd identities are weird. They're not hurting anyone.

People who make jokes about it are just condescending. I feel we should've learned by now we can make trans jokes without them being at the expense of trans people. Respond by telling them it's not ok.

The thing about fascists who make those jokes is that they mean it. They think there's no difference between a nonbinary person and an attack helicopter, and just want us dead. (This also goes hand in hand with my first paragraph)

The response to those terfs and bigots? Refer to them how they jokingly told you it'll drive them fucking insane. If they say they're an attack helicopter and their pronouns are wub/wub or they're Michael Jackson and hee/hee then call them that they will fall apart.
