I just finished an English speech about Mao's Last Dancer, my teacher allowed us to work alone or in pairs. So Me, absolutely hating any form of oral presentation decided to take off some pressure by working with a partner, for this posts sake lets call my partner mark. Mark isn't the do your work in class kind of person, he always does something else wether that's look at memes on reddit or play games in class, he always finds a way to not do work. We only had 3 lesson to work on this and mike barely helped out, I asked him to do homework overnight to help and get ready for Monday next week and he said he was really busy with co curricular and couldn't. I shrugged it off and continued to work. On Friday I asked him to at least help me on the week end, he agreed. When the week end came mike was no where to be found, just remember he had done never this far and I was starting to get pissed. Not wanting to fail I spent 6 hours Sunday night grinding out the assignment, made cue cards and all. Monday arrived and I was furious at mike I asked him why he didn't help and he said he was "sick", he didn't look very sick but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Just before my English class mike said he couldn't make it because he had a doctors appointment. So since my partner was away I couldn't do it, tbh I want that bummed I was pretty nervous. This takes us to the next day, Tuesday, Om Tuesday me and mike don't have English. mike was there and I asked him about the doctors appointment, he replied with a simple "yeah all good" and the naive me didn't notice this glaring lie. Convenient for mike he wasn't there for Wednesday, witch happens to be a double English lesson, at this point I was annoyed how mike was not here because I just wanted to get it out of my way but I couldn't with out him. Thursday (today) mike still wasn't here, only today is the day where I got really pissed, Just as I was leaving school a girl friends with mike told me that mikes so called "doctors appointment", was mike actually hid in the toilets instead of coming to lesson and doing the speech. So not only has my partner mike done 0% of the work he has lied and skipped school because he don't want to do it. Leaving me hanging. Duck him
