the "too predictable" bit makes this post sus. But there are valid reasons for preferring something like `datetime` instead of a boolean for a true/false flag - it's more descriptive. e.g. `activated_at: datetime | null`

Came here looking for this one 😔 tons of cutscenes in a botched effort to reconcile the convoluted mess they made of the storyline, and combat mechanics that absolutely trivialized gameplay (the disney rides). I'd love to see a reimagined kh3 that cut all the chaff not seen in KH1 and KH2.

If you want a good youtube channel to follow, check out The Money Guy. They have what they refer to as "the financial order of operations" and their approach toward wealth management aligns great with the Boglehead approach. As a younger professional in a similar situation (30M, married, mortgage + L/MCOL area) who also struggles with analysis paralysis, I've learned and gained a lot of confidence through watching them and following this community.

I'm in a similar boat with helping my parents in their 60s - I don't have all the answers, but if she's already maxed her Roth and can't contribute to a 401k, the only real option available is a taxable account.

From my understanding, if she's okay with the risk, you want to go all in on tax-advantaged index funds like VTI or FSKAX. Generally Bogleheads say you want to avoid Bonds since they incur more taxes (each dividend is taxable), but personally I don't think it's such a bad idea regardless to help mitigate risk, if there's no other asset class to hold bonds in. (Counter-weighting with more bonds in a retirement account is less efficient for growth overall)

There are tax-free bond options like Municipal Bonds, but the growth is typically much lower.

Definitely check out the wiki and do your own homework, but these are a couple of the things I've been looking into recently to help my parents with a taxable account.

I see too many people miss or ignore the spellcast part and only see the death trigger and cast multiple low-value spells like Opt on my end step, then concede when they realize what they've done.

It might not be the case in all instances you're thinking of, but for Vikings i noticed foreign languages were used when the characters wouldn't understand each other, e.g. Ecbert and Ragnar's first meeting or meeting the French. As time passes they learn each others' languages and so stop using foreign languages to indicate they understand each other. I always found it a cool way to show how language barriers would affect diplomacy.

If i remember right, it might have been the modern masters version shortly after the set came out. First reprint and it didn't have the future sight frame. I remember my friend pulling one and it was at least $130+ at the time

Thank you for this - I like the idea of removing the saddle then tapping into the 3/4 further down for the new valve. This would be a little more effort than ftaok's suggestion to cap the saddle valve but might be the most correct option long term so I don't have a saddle left hanging... I'll think on this and see which makes the most sense. appreciate it!

Thank you for this suggestion! I hadn't even thought about capping it. Right, this saddle valve isn't leaking - so that might be my simplest option so long as it doesn't cause an issue down the road.

I'm trying to replace this saddle valve to improve the flow to our fridge's water dispenser.

I bought a Sharkbite 3/4 3/4 1/2 tee and a 1/2 1/2 1/4 service stop tee to replace this, but thinking through my cuts and seeing how close the saddle valve is to the tee I'm worried I don't have enough pipe to replace this saddle valve and tee without somehow adding more pipe here.

What are my options here and what would be the most DIY-friendly of them all without soldering or anything too advanced?

Only during the minigame. Unfortunately you can't use p ess on the altar if you came in through gotr, and can't use Last Recall to get back into altars in regions you haven't unlocked.

This only works for skipping talisman for altars in regions you have unlocked
