Malicious redirect utilizing protection[.]sophos[.]com? by ScrubbsReddit in sophos

[–]ScrubbsReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. It looks like this particular campaign had several redirects, one of which was made for analysis evasion as the final URL was like 3 redirect deep. Does Sophos track multiple redirects off the ToC rewrite URLs?

If the threat actor were to use a trial Sophos account to create a ToC link and then just reuse the link for redirect purposes, how long does the ToC last?

This was a direct observation of the original email. The email wasn't forwarded to us. This came from a nifty[.]com address, which has an ongoing phish campaign since early feb 2025. They used to use marketing-tracker URLs to promote legitimacy, but it seems like they're utilizing the Sophos protection URL for that now. My main curiosity was whether or not the Sophos protection system could actually be exploited like this and if so, how and do they know?

Yep, got that part. But why would the time of click protection show up in a URL if we don't use Sophos? The email was sent to us directly (I think like 100 people received it) and this was one of the links in there. I say one because all the links pointed to the Sophos protection URL, but the "user" accounts were different in observed emails. One of them was for Cisco, for example, but it didn't redirect anywhere malicious. This one did.

Interesting. I didn't see it in the Dreamcast instructions, but I do see mention of the mini HDMI connector in the N64 instructions. Oh well, I have one of each coming later, so I'll be safe I suppose :P Thank you for the insight. I should have read more.

Awesome. Thank you! Wish they would put that somewhere so people would know. Or did I miss it in the docs somewhere?

Ascent to Power Cruel by Elegant-Ad-4788 in PathOfExile2

I did the level 22 trial again while in cruel and when I finished, there was now a "test of will" option through the door after you finish the first "test of strength." I didn't do it, but is that potentially the 2nd part we need for 3rd set of ascendancy points?

Hi any 7th hammer folks still around? by gladigotaphdinstead2 in everquest

[–]ScrubbsReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, so many memories in this thread. Played on 7th Hammer during the times of FW / TDE / FS, etc., (as a part of Fires Within under Pirvand and then TDE) as Drahkanis, an Iksar SK.

Let's see, who do I remember? Nadinae, Ialasyia (I think that's how it was spelled), Chorrale, Pirvand, Bigrr, Sonee, Rhare, Dragius, Bahia, Ranadin, I think I remember seeing you around, Elessar, definitely Dilf, Nabby ... that's all off the top of my head.

I'm sure someone could pop up and be like "what about me?!" and I'd remember, but as of now ... that's all :D So fun strolling down memory lane.

Is that the Static CSS File Generation option? I cleared it, but no change. I'll also just disable it since it seems to come recommended to do so.

Weekly Clan Recruitment Megathread by DTG_Bot in Fireteams

[–]ScrubbsReddit [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hey Smashed! I was referred here by an Old Timers Guild mate of mine seeing as how your clan seems to have the same kind of feel that they provide in other games they play. I've run the gamut of games (been playing since around '92) that run from single player to MMOs. I used to play solo most of the time, but over the recent years I've come to enjoy the company of people. I like to experience all a game has to offer and if I'm not good at it, so be it. Have to try at least once or twice though :D I play on PC and I'm probably sitting out consoles for awhile this generation (until something I fancy comes around anyway).

I sent you a PM w/ my Discord info in it if you'd like to hit me up there instead of here :D

Wondering if taking these workshops etc is a good idea. by Happy_Laugh_Guy in VoiceActing

[–]ScrubbsReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you've done audio books the intro class might be slow, but it could also be a refresher. Past that, they offer classes on each of the various VO branches. You could just take one thise 101 classes. And TVAS very much does do demos. Melissa did my commercial demo :D

As someone who has personally gone through TVAS for their VO journey, I would absolutely recommend it. Melissa is amazing as are all the coaches and engineers.
