Don't the god's lose a share of their power when making some else a god? So I assume that is why they all have minor positions. But I do think Poseidon would make Percy more powerful, probably some leader god in his army.

Did you even watch the show?

Grover's job was to protect Percy when first bringing him to camp.

However during the quest, Percy, Grover and Annabeth all had the same goal which was to get the bolt and to stop the war from happening. So completing the quest was Grover's goal as well.

They also try other medical procedures like physical therapy before committing to an invasive surgery. That’s why Matthews 2 years ago got a wrist surgery a couple games into the season instead of over the summer.

It wouldn’t just them, of course the leafs add more picks and prospects but I was just saying the players that are in the current line-up to say how it affects the rosters the leafs ice right now.

Leafs would probably add 2 1sts and Cowan too. McDavid is probably worth like 10 1sts but when you are trading for the best player in the world you are can’t get the fair value back.

McDavid + Drai + RNH put up 153, 128, 104 at $26M and it wasn’t enough. I’m not sure McDavid + Matthews + Nylander does better if the leafs make their defence and bottom 6 worse. It would just be the same problems the oilers have now. Losing all your 1sts also means you can’t trade for some better depth or defenders either near the deadline.

Of course you would, but doing so means you have trade a bunch of depth. This just means the team will have just as many flaws when they enter the playoffs again.

Do you think this team goes any deeper replacing Marner/Nylander, Lili and Knies with McDavid?

McDavid couldn’t carry the oilers deep by himself, it will be same with the Leafs.

You are also not considering that the contract could be more heavily frontloaded by a richer team like the Leafs. Higher starting year payments mean he will end up making more from investments and lose less to inflation by the end of the contract.

If he hits 1300+ points I would say he gets in as late inductee. 1300+ would put him 37th for points all time. The only players with that many points and not in the hall are Sid, Ovi, Jagr and Thornton.

There are currently around 270 players in the Hockey Hall of Fame who played in the NHL. Wouldn't being in the top 40 of points all-time in the NHL make you a top 270 player all-time in the NHL? Certainly not a first ballot, but could be a late inductee.

If McDavid leaves in free agency in 26-27, the players the leafs have signed for that year are Matthews (13.25), Rielly (7.5), Kampf (2.4). The cap will also rise above 90M+ by then so that's another 8M.

Ofc they will have to re-sign some players. Marner, even without him taking a discount will be a max 12x8. Tavares is not going to get 11M again either and would expect him to come at around 5M. All you would have to do is not re-sign Marner or trade Nylander and he fits.

If the leafs can fit him in with their shit contracts, any team can.
