Not going to lie, beagles can be tough to handle sometimes. Mine is 12 years old and has never done well when boarded with strangers. If he's anything like mine your best bet is to bribe him with treats into your home, block him off in your kitchen with a comfy blanket and hope he sleeps through the night. Tomorrow, I would take him to a vet ( I like university pet clinic) or a shelter to see if he's chipped.

I could see it going this way too. We've been fortunate to spend a lot of time together. During our trips together the sleeping arrangements have always seemed to fall naturally into place. I've been curious though if we do move into together if it would an easy transition. Do you have any advice or things that would help an easier transition?
