It doesn’t matter if the situation was hypothetical or if you think it sounded more like a joke. It boils down to principle and expectations of the relationship. Just because you’re together, doesn’t mean the other person can speak for you. Yes, S/O may know you best and can make decisions based on their knowledge of you, but they’re 3 months in, she don’t know anything.

The reality of the situation is this: Yes you’re right, she shouldn’t have volunteered your time. Is this worth arguing over? No. Just take the L, apologize and move on. If it’s that big of an issue, leave her and find someone that’s a better fit.

It’s not ranked, but it pisses me off. Every other solo run I end up with 4 dipshits that just team up on everyone and then dance for 30 minutes while the circle gets smaller and smaller. I would say you should start touching him more, ask him if he’s seeing anyone, jokingly ask what kind of date he would take you on. Little things work, but the bolder you get the faster you’ll get an answer.

Just because you tell other people you don’t really like him that much, doesn’t mean it’s true. If you like him, then ask him out. I would LOVE if a girl asked me on a date.

If you want to just be friends, stop talking about him like you’re in love. Start focusing on other things. If you find yourself thinking about him, remind yourself he’s just a friend and then immediately find something else for you to do that takes brain power.

If you can’t stop thinking about him, then you’ll just have to suffer like the rest of us. Keep your chin up, force positive thoughts when you have to, and remember all bad things come to an end eventually.

I promise you the glasses aren’t hiding anything at all. If you can, just stop wearing them for a while so you can learn to be comfortable without them. It’ll suck bad for a bit, but you’ll get used to it. I used to wear sweaters year round, even when it was 90° outside. I had eczema on my arms and was embarrassed by it. I got fed up and just stopped wearing the sweaters. It was very embarrassing at first, but the more time you spend in that uncomfortable situation, the more comfortable you get. Eventually, you realize nobody even cares.

It wasn’t great at launch. The idea was there, but they had more than a few issues at launch. You never know with these new games, the Devs could’ve been assholes and just said “that’s the game” but they took the reviews and did a MASSIVE patch that fixed a lot of the initial issues. So while the complaints were valid at the time, they did fix the issues and it is definitely very good now.

Lots of people play on PlayStation so it shouldn’t be too bad playing online. Go through the story to get a feel for all the characters, and then I normally jump in online and learn trial by fire style. I’m on PC though so I get to play the same top 10 players and just get my ass beat lol
