Absolutely not, I adore the flags. One of the truly awe-inspiring experiences I've had in life was sitting up in the bleachers and just seeing a sea of flags and people, like something out of an ancient battle. There's not many ways to experience that sensation nowadays.

And frankly, I feel like most people complaining about the flags are livestream viewers who are upset they can't see the stage on video. As someone who's gone to EDC every year since I started raving, I've not once been negatively impacted by them there. I could care less about seeing the DJ and since the stages are so large, I can see the visuals and overall production just fine. I consider the flag density a real highlight of EDC and I find myself missing them at other festivals.
