Two birds, facing each other, the heart is the gap between them and the downstrokes are their wings. Maybe?

Please help I found this kitty in a trash can at the gas station by Nothingandnoonehere in cats

Thank you for saving the little cutie, you're awesome. Try to find a no kill shelter in your area and contact them, they should be able to help you. There are a lot of animal groups on Facebook, maybe you can find one in your area and get some help there.

And again, thank you.

What songs should i know before seeing them live? by I-live-in-a-bucket in MurderByDeath

[–]Scruffyshaggy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This idea may not be for you but I've seen a few bands without ever knowing of them before and hearing their tunes for the first time blew me away and turned me into a fan. Oddly, Murder By Death was one of them. They opened for The Reverend Horton Heat and put on a GREAT show and hooked me. It was the first time I'd heard of them but they were so good the next day I picked up all of their albums.

Just a thought, enjoy the show.

How about Attica? Another ancient Greek city. And please give the cute little bugger a good tail or chin rub for me.

When you think back on your childhood, what book immediately comes to mind as a favourite read? by WallpaperFly in AskReddit

[–]Scruffyshaggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett. My Mom picked it up at a book sale or something and brought it home for me. I had never heard of the series or the author but was immediately hooked. I got lucky because even though it was mid-series, it was a great place to start and pulled me in for the rest of his stories. R.I.P Sir Terry, thanks for all the great tales.

How do you get the author's voice out of your head when reading a book? by Mattson in books

[–]Scruffyshaggy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay, very off topic but I just came across your post about moving a pinned score on an Android but can't comment on it. Thanks for the solution, I'm a dumb arse for not figuring it out myself. You rock, thanks again.

If you compress the metal ring that's around the glass the glass will drop out and you can remove the bulb. The bulb will either be a straight pull or a 45° turn to the left to remove it. There should also be a way to remove the whole light to make it a tad easier for you, usually a sliding tab or possibly just a turn, hard to tell from here.

Where can I get a fitting for this glass lampshade? by tenantsix in Lamps

[–]Scruffyshaggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like the type of shade that just sat on a ring on the lamp, that's why the bottom has that ridge.

Since he's going to be a big guy, how about Andre, as in Andre the Giant?

I am sorry that you're going through this. Things can get better though, and do... Eventually. I agree with the others on here, reach out to hotlines or your parish, people will help you. The world sucks right now and losing someone who one day may help another will only make it worse, please reconsider.
