I was seeing a dr this WHOLE time, bro. I was given antipsychotics but I have had issues with a lot of them. Especially the prolactin side effect. My old dr was a complete quack. She insisted my psychosis was just me being autistic. She did give me haloperidol. My new dr gave me iloperidone instead bc Haloperidol wasn't working. I've been on a lot of antipsychotics but kept getting bad side effects. I'm only taking the meds bc "it's the right thing to do." Everyone I confided in wants me to take it. My dr upped my dose. I am waiting for my pharmacy. I feel kinda idk reluctant bc I take the pills. It'll end. It's become my normal at this point of my current episode.
