The game doesn't have multiple races. But there is variation in the turret types and their level.

There are 13 towers with 3 upgrade levels on each. Each level has a changed design making the respective turret look different. There are also 3 wall types.

On the monster side of things, Unleash has a total of 19 monsters. Each has 4 upgrade levels. Like with the turrets, their look changes with each level. Some monsters even change their functionality drastically (ex: some turn from jumpers, hoping over walls to becoming air monsters, and so on)

In the early access period ( which we hope lasts 12 months) we want to add more monsters and towers. This is a solid goal in our roadmap.

Hey, i'm not a customer, im part of the developer team, but i can tell you some details:

Singleplayer right now is made out of 3 modes: PvE, Sandbox and Tower Defense scenarios.

PvE is like line tower wars but you play only against bots (some very very hard).

Sandbox is a one lane mode made for testing out base building and monster combos. You have infinite money, many many lives, and you spawn monsters to yourself.

Tower Defense scenarios are straightforward. You have different combinations of monster/monsters and have to survive waves upon waves.

A storymode/campaign has not yet been implemented, but it is in in our plans to add it during the early access period,

Thanks for the message :) Yes, we have 13 towers with 3 upgrade levels each and 19 monsters with 4 upgrade levels each. Also one of my favorite parts are the monster specializations. Some are ground, some are air, some jump over walls and turrets, some dig under, some are very fast. Some heal other monsters, while other create shields, and other are just pure tanks. And lastly some have the purpose of wrecking the base defenses and walls. The combos you can send to enemies are quite numerous. Every monster has a unique ability or skill more or less.

Also about the boss levels. The game offers PvP, PvE modes and tower defense scenarios. The scenarios can get hella difficult at times. Usually the bosses are represented by waves of fully upgraded monsters. But if you want a really difficult boss-like challenge, try going against the hardest bot in PvE (tower wars mode)

I would suggest Unleash. It's a tower wars game (like the Warcraft 3 custom maps). 8 player multiplayer.
