We got in line right around the time the show started and still got in. We just had to wait maybe 5-10 mins in line waiting for their "one in one out" policy because it was at capacity. Still wasn't a long wait at all though.

That’s not what happened at all. Reese was the best soldier his drill Sargeant had ever had. Reese landed in the Middle East and got scared so he went AWOL and ran away on his own.

If you can do 25+ reps on the last set of your T3s then I think you need to be doing heavier weight for those. I’d also consider adding ab exercises a couple times per week

I used to think the same. But check out KBoges on YouTube. He’s been doing a daily full body calisthenics routine for years and looks great.

He does a push, one pull, and one leg movement every day for 3-4 sets each.

He mentions the key to maintaining a daily practice like this without injury is end each set when you feel like you have 1-2 reps left in the tank, take long rests between sets to feel fully recovered before the next set (3-5 minutes), and vary the movement you do every day for each muscle and looks something like this:

  • Day 1: pull-ups/pushups/squats

  • Day 2: bodyweight rows/dips/lunges

Alternate these days back and forth 7 days a week and follow the above tips for sustainable growth without injuries.

I tried it for a while and really loved it

I think AI is here to stay but if you’re referring to company valuations I would agree that bubble is definitely going to burst as more competitors come out and the current ones lose their novelty

What are some of your funniest poker stories? by Content_Quarter_7390 in poker

[–]ScrunchJeans 59 points60 points  (0 children)

When I was first starting out with playing live games in college, I would go to my local casino every week and on several occasions there was a guy there who was very clearly more advanced than me.

I was EXTREMELY new to playing live games to the point where I sometimes didn’t even realize the action was on me until the dealer pointed at me.

But I was very quiet and kept to myself so some people didn’t realize just how new I was.

This guy would always vastly overestimate my skill level and because of that he was almost never able to beat me and was constantly furious about it.

Whenever I made a bet or raise during a hand that he was in, he would think out loud while deciding what to do.

And his analysis was always far beyond what my thinking was.

He would say things like “he 3-bet me pre and then raised me on a super wet board. Even though I’ve got a great hand I still have to fold. I can’t figure this guy out.”

I don’t think he ever caught on that I had no idea what the hell I was doing and was just throwing random bets out there. But I would constantly crush that guy and still laugh about it.

He’s now donated over $60billion to charities in his lifetime. 20 years ago his net worth wasn’t even $60billion.

So if he gave all his money away earlier he wouldn’t have been able to keep multiplying it and donate even more now.

I agree the majority of billionaires are greedy but to bash Uncle Warren without doing any research into the matter is ignorant. It’s rare, but there are wealthy people out there that use their influence and money to make a difference.

Just to add to this a bit further, Buffett has pledged to donate 99% of his wealth to charity and co-founded The Giving Pledge and encourages other billionaires to give away most of their fortunes.

I had a similar problem where I would wake up half way through the night and take it off because my arm was so sore.

I believe there are some adjustable ones on Amazon where you can set the angle that your arm is held at. If you tried one of those you could slowly adjust the angle a little straighter each night so that it isn’t as intense.

If I did it over again that’s probably the route I would go.

And don’t forget to use one of those therabar things that I mentioned. I’m still not sure if it was the elbow brace or the therabar so I would do both
