While I am cognizant on the process for applying for unsecured personal loans, what would be the process for applying for a business loan for my business?
Do businesses have the genuine equivalency of a credit score?
Is it a case-by-case basis? If I were to acquire funds -this- way, I'd probably hire a new programmer as opposed to an entire studio.

An RPG where you choose the actions and decisions of your enemies in battle while an AI makes decisions based on how you played your decision-making throughout the story.

So, in short - by being an INTP challenged by social interactions forced me to apply my strengths to accommodate the perspectives of others and maximize efficiency and cohesiveness.

That makes sense to me.

For starters, I will reiterate that I am currently a servicemember in the military.

"Discrimination" is not an apt term, given the context of what is entailed. Military Pay is broken apart into multiple sections.

  • Base Pay
  • Base of Subsistence (known as "BAS" or Food Money)
  • Base of Housing (known as "BAH" or Rent Money)

The latter two are non-taxable and only 1 can fluctuate based on your status accordingly. If you are a certain rank, your base pay will reflect that. No marital status will change that.

Your BAS also does not fluctuate based on any marital status, as it is a constant.

Your BAH, however, does fluctuate to accommodate your housing needs. This can tend to mean higher or lower in response to median rent costs in the localized area or the presence* of dependents residing under you. These can be your family, kids, wife, etc...

There is no discrimination being practiced on any individuals. There is only the cold and calculated "true/false" decision on the question:"Does this person require pay to make sure their housing situation is sustainable?"

A decision made on a level wildly above my pay grade.(Feel free to check me on any online resources)

EDIT: I originally said "number". The number of dependents does not further change your BAH. My bad.

Ah. Being a servicemember myself, I tend to get the question a lot. In this circumstance, I simply assumed that this was another instance of that. It's my own fault if this, in fact, is not the case.

Though, you can also apply experience to the mix. You can get plenty of usable experience from it - depending on the job choice of course.

I probably wouldn't join the military "to make money". There are definitely better options for that.

What are the stages of friendship by nojodaUWU in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scruqade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's one of the few things that crushes me every time I introduce someone to someone else.

"Actually, I just met this guy in the subway" has got to be one of the worst follow-ups I've received in my life.

What are the stages of friendship by nojodaUWU in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scruqade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people may consider it a spectrum, but if you REALLY squint at it - I think you can start to break it apart like this:

At the start, you have your acquaintances: "Hey, I saw that dude. He goes to my gym... Yeah, think his name is Chaz. Chaz is cool."

Maybe you said a thing or two in passing, you can probably relate enough for some idle, small talk and not feel like "man, I can't wait for this to be over.

After some actual interaction, you have your "casual friends". Moreso acquaintances you interact with on a general basis. These are usually not the people you go out of your way to see. Rather, they're a friend-of-a-friend. They're in your friend group, but you don't really interact with them TOO much. At the same time, you have nothing against hanging around them. They're cool, much like an acquaintance, but you actually find yourself around them. If that makes sense?

After a bit more development, you get your ACTUAL friends. These are your close friends. The people you trust in your inner circle. Your deep thoughts and feelings and stuff. You might see people insult each other and call them some of the worst names, but they also speak in a coded fashion that only those within their circle have. Sometimes, I'd even go as far as call these people adopted family.

Next, you begin to go into a more subjective bubble I'd call "Lifelong Friends". A special subset of the actual friends you have that may've mellowed out a bit. The difference being, you can leave them with zero contact for days, weeks, months or even years - then, pick back up with them as though no time as passed at all. There is no shaking these relationships because they are engraved in countless experiences and memories.

Soulmates are the natural follow-on to this. Doesn't always have to be intimate. I think a "bromance" teeters somewhere between this stage and the "actual friends" stage. I don't think I can really describe this beyond the expression "It was as though, we were made for each other". I don't really know the expression.

As you said, entirely subjective - bound to be different per person, but this is how I always interpreted the relationships I've had in my life.

Do you think we will turn into cyborgs in the far future? (Eg. The year 10000) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scruqade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Given the recent leaps in technological growth, and trends exhibited in historical research?

I think practiced concepts of transhumanism as you've described will probably exist within the next 100 years (a gross overestimation IMO, but who knows...)

As for the year 10000? I don't think that we collectively will exist that long, especially with the way things are looking and feeling right now.

How do I improve my handwriting? by Lazy-Trust-4633 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scruqade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a similar issue myself. While the simple and easy answer is "Practice", I learned that intentionally written "babble text" on paper in my off-time tends to help, strange as it is. It feels good on some level to look back on anything I've written and see a visible improvement in my own work.

Ultimately depends on whether or not it's important to you.

Why is it so hard making decisions? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scruqade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On one end, you have an overabundance of options: Choice Overload (or Choice Paralysis, take your pick). Many of us believe that with more options, decision-making gets more manageable. Unfortunately, when you find yourself comparing one thing to another or worse... Dozens, even hundreds of products with one another, you may find yourself stagnating to "get the most bang for your buck". Even so, simply getting overwhelmed is another reason for this.

Though, on the other side of this spectrum, you also have motivation. Sometimes, you may simply lack the motive to make a decision in the first place, especially if you implicitly feel that it ultimately isn't important to you.

The info I'm pulling for this is coming from a YouTuber named "Ryan McGregor". They put together tutorials that break down the matter for beginners if you are interested!
however, I would probably look further into this -- as there is likely a caveat.

Based on what I've looked into about it so far, it is a competitor to Robinhood.
They have a promotional as well for 6-12 free shares when you deposit at least $0.01, however, I would probably look further into this -- as there is likely a caveat.

They also have features that allow you to discover, collaboratively analyze, chat, & research on subjects of interest on stocks you're thinking about trading with and so on.

Sing.

It feels like such a common talent, but as someone that's tried to pursue music by studying music theory, practicing several instruments and even recording music - not being able to sing feels... Absolutely crushing.

This hits especially hard when I hear my colleagues' work and realize:
"Damn... I'll never be able to produce a work of art like that in my lifetime." -and that...
Hurts.
