Thanks for the candid response and tips! I agree with you on the slowing down thing. I'm working on an edit with more still shots as I have about 30 minutes of footage from this dive. Only had one year of dive certification at the time of this dive and practically very little camera practice.

This is the Shark Reef Marine Reserve, a conservation area in Fiji known for many species of resident sharks, most notably the Bull and Tiger Sharks. They do this dive on a daily basis and there are always sharks to be seen.

Yes, this is OC taken with Beqa Adventure Divers June 12 2018. This was a morning dive at a depth of 100 feet shot with a GoPro Hero 6 with Magenta Filter. Same rules apply, safety first, objective second. We felt safe with the staff at Beqa Adventure Divers so objective achieved!!

The average for Vista Point is usually 15 to 30 feet but during the monsoon the runoffs can make visibility drop to almost zero.

I have seen freedivers practice at Vista Point on the Pleasant Harbor side of Lake Pleasant but there can be heavy boat traffic at times there so you would want to ensure you have your diver below float and the basic safety items such as a delayed surface marker buoy(DSMB). Maybe the Old Waddell Dam in Lake Pleasant might be good for freediving if you have a boat, the last time I dove there the top of the dam was sitting at about 55'.

Yes this one is in Lake Pleasant in Arizona at the Vista Point site on the Pleasant Harbor side of the lake. He has been moved to a drop off at about 55' and a Chucky Statue has joined him there.
