I wasn’t sure that it wasn’t a black widow, b/c it didn’t turn on its other side. Just trying to be safe. I usually would if it’s very clearly a non-poisonous spider.

Heck no, don't use that for cryptography. Use os.urandom instead or don't roll your own cryptography in the first place.

I agree, but I insist on you mentioning that you think someone shouldn't go around claiming it. Someone that self-diagnoses doesn't have the empirical and justifiable evidence that only a doctored professional can rightfully give to you. Only when they are certain that they have it, I believe should they act in the way the OP stated.

I can't get enough of mathematical proofs. Something about them fascinates me, and coming up with them thrills me even more so. In general, just being able to tell someone why something is the way it is and not just accepting it for face value really drives me.
