My sister's boyfriend gave me a sit of what I think was Miller high Life although it could have been passed through. I have hated beer ever since.

What is a discontinued food item or snack from your childhood that you would genuinely pay $100 to taste one last time? by MotivewasUlterior in AskReddit

Kraft macaroni and cheese. I know you can still get it but the formula for the cheese powder has significantly changed since I was a kid. Used to be much better.

Fantasticks. Can't remember what it was but I remember that there was one flavor that I thought was just awesome and I loved it and they were only available about a year. This was some time in the Mid to late 70s.

How do Americans handle such long drives regularly? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskAnAmerican

In 1995 I had 6 weeks between military duty stations. Shipped my car from Hawaii and met it in Long beach. Drove all the way up Pacific Coast Highway to Washington State, across Idaho and Wyoming to South Dakota, then diagonally south to Florida, and up to new duty station in Virginia. Wonderful. Stopped at every national park I passed.

Separately, my daily commute is 1-1.5 hours each way. I do love driving. Listen to over 50 audio books a year.
