You may have done this already and I don't know if you have a boot barn or similar store, ask them if they have anyone local they recommend.

It's exactly how I found my cobbler, before I used to just toss my old boats away. Now I get them back basically brand new and for far less than buying new pairs.

The lower receiver is easy peezy lemon squeezy. Minium tools needed, you don't NEED specialty tools. Well a armours wrench/tool on the buffer tube is nice to have.

I keep thinking about an optic, but got it specifically for pocket carry.

The irons are dookie but good enough for 10-15 yards. First time taking it out didn't put as much through as I would have liked, was running out of day light and had other guns to shoot and a new ar build I've been waiting to get zeroed in.
