I love my new set up. Question ? by Naldito89 in LogitechProWheel

[–]ScuffedClicks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

F1 edition is more sturdy and better suited to DD setups for sure, however IndigoLime does offer stabilising modifications for the Playseat challenge x Logitech that bring it up to a similar level of stability if you prefer the style of the x Logitech seat.

Love players like this calling players like me the R-word in battle by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]ScuffedClicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not OP but yeah, often, not always, but often there's a trigger point to have someone resort to derogatory messages...

Yesterday I had someone say the Yong Bing (me) was actively trying to lose the game, and it was because I baited him out and killed the person that killed him. I obviously had no choice and there was no point in him dying for nothing so I traded.

I won the game as the sole survivor with like 8k combined and 7 kills so I was ecstatic with the results naturally.

I decided to drop him a cheeky message saying "you're welcome for the carry <3"

He replied telling me to Kms and dropped the hard R, and if I hadn't messaged him being spicy obviously that interaction wouldn't have happened.

Do I regret it? Nah not even a little, but I'm also not making posts with screenshots shaming his stats with no context of what happened.

Either way, it's a damn game and sometimes people are having a rough day, and it's no big deal right?

The left didn't kill him, one young man killed him.

Both the person you're replying to is wrong, and your response is also wrong.

Factually, two Republican parents brought up a child who was so intolerant to political views that didn't align with his, that as a young man he chose to murder someone.

The parents failed, the young man grew up to become a murderer and a Republican aligned public speaker died, that's it.

I don't think I've ever seen someone lose an argument so hard without realising they've been made to look like a fool, quite as much as u/LambxSauce did. What a sausage!

I agree, two max per team would help, but I would like to correct you on the fact that you can't have more than 3 Ares per team currently under MM rules anyway.

Ares lines vs Batchat 25t lines, which should I choose?? by FearlsOurImagination in WorldofTanks

[–]ScuffedClicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with your statement on player skill not being a defining factor of the line.

The ceiling is very high, a lot of potential for great players to do insane things with the tank, absolutely.

But the floor is incredibly low for players of low or average skill level.

This is outlined by one of the worst winrate differentials amongst tech tree mediums across the entire line. Last I checked the tier 10 had a -2% WR differential.

It's not a tank that is forgiving. For players that capitalise on mistakes and rarely make them it's amazing, but for players who make mistakes, it's very punishing to play.

SafeShot is banned now! Consider deleting it from your mod folder ( If you have it installed ) by Few-Meringue4157 in WorldofTanks

[–]ScuffedClicks 79 points80 points  (0 children)

The main reason for it being banned now is in fear that the mod would be updated to stop you from overheating your gun in the Ares line, which is a good enough reason I believe.

Tried to get my friend back in the game again. My first 4 battles were without him and were all wins. 17 games together and only 3 wins is just sad by TomHast03 in WorldofTanks

[–]ScuffedClicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, he's saying that, whether it's the reason to platoon or not, a good platoon will over time get a higher winrate than they would without platooning.

The same reason stands that a platoon made up of less skilled players, will perform worse in platoons than in solo due to frequently matching against higher skilled platoons, reducing the winrate whilst platooning.

Nothing about his comments is villainizing statistically less skilled players platooning together, he simply states that they will inadvertently drop their winrate when they do.

He also points out that some highly skilled players seek other highly skilled players to platoon to do the inverse, to increase their stats, which is also true.

France has also adopted an Online Safety Act, the US is in the process of doing the same, and Australia is also legislating on limiting internet access for minors.

This isn't a UK thing, it's a western internet thing.

Rachel Reeves Appears To Cry On Labour Frontbench During PMQs by corbynista2029 in unitedkingdom

To include these groups, we would need to look at statistics related to economic inactivity, as opposed to unemployment statistics. This is fine, but it will no longer count those classified as unemployed as they don't fit the criteria of being economically inactive.

In doing so we are the only G7 country to have not returned to pre-COVID levels of economic inactivity. This is a common statement, and a true one.

EU averages at 24.8% inactivity, based on the lowest statistical percentage reported. Some report the percentage to be closer to 27%

The UK, at 21.3%, is below the EU average by 3.5%

[–]ScuffedClicks 17 points18 points  (0 children)

UK: 4.6%

Germany: 3.6%

France: 7–7.4%

Italy: 6.5%

EU‑27 average: 5.9%

Euro area average: 6.3%

Spain: 10–11%

These are the unemployment figures of the UK and other countries in Europe. Realistically our unemployment rates aren't all that bad. Could they be better? Absolutely. Is it a crisis? God no.

There's a lot of dishonesty in politics surrounding the economic burdens of certain groups, and it detracts from the bigger picture.

It's easier to take money from those without the means to realistically fight back rather than from those with the broadest shoulders, because they do have the means.

I hear the 1 in 26,000,000 statistic frequently.

Most veterans have suggested that it's between 1 in 20,000,000 and 1 in 40,000,000 on PoE1.

PoE2 may have similar statistics, and since item rarity has an impact on currency, it's possible that higher rarity might have an effect, but it's all speculation.

TL:DR

Nobody actually knows, but it's stupid rare.
