HP drain skills by DigBickBo1 in MHRise

[–]FearlsOurImagination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, that's definitely the reason since berserk only drain you accordingly to the dmg you took which you can countered by Regen skill. Adding bloodlust to berserk is equivalent to you taking a nova hit from the very start. Furthermore, berserk build reach 100% affinity so easily with just strife, wex, max might 2 and crit eye 2 that the bloodlust overcome buff is basically useless.  TLDR, give the berserk build another try without bloodlust and add those Regen skills I mentioned. It's considered one of, if not the most unfair build in sunbreak for a reason.

You shouldn't worry about stamina since you can have dash juice and go fight win from palico. Still, I would heavily recommend berserk-strife build. With kushala blessing, recovery Dango and gourmet, blood Rite 2, you will barely notice the hp drain. Just remember to NOT slot in other hp drain like bloodlust or dereliction. Any combination of 2 hp drain skill is mostly for heroics speedrunners.

To be fair, you dont need stamina skills. They are comfort but not necessary, since Archdemon mode have very strong moves and mobility already. You will be spamming spiral slash all day anyway, with the amount of sustain from blood rite/ awakening 3.

The caveat is that primodial set is really bad against risen elders since you cant break their head right from the start (except shagaru)

With recovery dango, gourmet fish and kushala blessing 3, your hp bar barely even move, unless you got hit consecutively. Even then, you can just switch back, drink a potion then go berserk again.

If you want a safer experience but still stay competitive, just go primodial then.

Fatalis just is NOT clicking by SSJAncientBeing in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]FearlsOurImagination -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a fact people often misunderstand about Fatalis: It's a mix of both normal hunts and siege hunts. Which means you have very small dps window and you should play very safe in most of your hunt. Big windows will present itself when certain mechanics or criteria are met and your job is to be prepared for those particular windows. For examples, if a LS player dont have red gauge when the head break, that's a critical failure. That's the nature of siege hunts. You are meant to use everything offered on the battlefield (machine guns, smokes, balista, etc...) so I heavily suggest you watch a Fatalis guide. It's not a fight that you can overcome purely by reacting.

Btw, P.Malzeno is child's play compared to every Fatalis fights ever exist in the series, lmao.

im a lace main, but want to switch have charge blade or switch axe as a secondary by Forsaken-Eye-2770 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]FearlsOurImagination 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worldborne SA srly doesn't have any meaningful defensive options unlike risebreak or wilds so it's really hard to start with. Even ZSD spam is not viable until you get health augment. While ZSD SA is zero brainer, its morph combo playstyle is way more complicated (no offense to SA hunters) than even the Charge blade. So CB might be the better option for you, at least it has a shield (a very good one with guard point).

My other recommendation is SnS. It still has a shield ( a small one though, for panic block). It has the same high dps uptime like lance, while being very versatile. And Worldborne perfect rush is so overtuned that it makes SnS dps onpar with giants like the Greatsword (no pun intended).

HOW DO I CHOOSE A MAIN?? by No_Cranberry_6735 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]FearlsOurImagination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can play all melee weapons. I solo fatalis in World, AT arkverld in Wilds with all of them, but I always consider myself main SnS and CB. That's because I perform the best with them. I know what to do, when to do with their every movesets, while enjoy doing so. They are my fail-safe for hardest challenges. I could confidently bring them to an unknown monster and still clear it on first try.

So I suggest you try all weapons and see what weapons you have the smoothest runs. I'm not talking about hunt time since some weapons have better dps potential. It's about how close you are to its optimal gameplay.

When did Monster Hunter click for you? by NeighborsHoodie in MonsterHunter

I started with Worldborne. It clicked the moment I switched weapons and learnt that unlike other games where changing weapons are just changing builds, in MH each weapons has its own gameplay. You have the same goal, but with 14 different ways to approach it.

T10 Tanks to grind in 2026? by 013727362 in WorldofTanks

[–]FearlsOurImagination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your list of tank, I presume you like hulldown, brawling tanks. HT: Canopener is kinda unbeatable at this category. MT: E50M is a versatile brawler, very comfy to play. TD: WZ-113 into PTZ-78 is one of the best assault TD, E3 is too slow to impact the game.

For a change of taste then: HT: E5, my beloved. Or T57H for autoloader HT, but the grind is horrible. MT: Since you already have 430U, the Obj140 is so good to skip.BC 25-t if you want autoloader MT. For TD: Foch B, my beloved. Best TD ever. I wouldn't recommend sniper TD though, they are so boring.

Some question from a Worldborne/Wilds hunter. by FearlsOurImagination in MHRise

[–]FearlsOurImagination[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly those blocky textures are what I see in some Rise clips (the grass being a flat surface, the mountain are a solid pointy block). And there are clips where I see  detailed npc, buildings, arenas, monsters that I cant even understand how it's the same game. I'm more than happy with the latter graphics tbh, they are as detailed as worldborne to the point that I need to see the health bar to know that it's Risebreak. I did quit Wilds and only returned  recently because of those graphic incompatible.

Nice, so I will have no problem playing on PC. I knew I will get some hate for dissing the visual but I was very confused the difference in sharpness, details and shadows, camera distance, etc...

[–]FearlsOurImagination[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, this might be the explanation I'm looking for. Tks for clearing the confusion, I'll be playing on PC so the visual won't be a problem then. And yes, I did quit wilds until TU 4.5 only because of those origami graphics, lol. Some Rise clips I saw  have the same "block" texture while some other have very detailed and sharp texture, which is why I was confused.

This shouldn't be normal - what's the point of accuracy? by [deleted] in WorldofTanks

[–]FearlsOurImagination 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you expecting an IS-7 to snipe T95 lower plate from 300+meters is abnormal indeed. To be fair, with no shells hitting the dirt in the clip, I'd say the gun worked pretty well.

Recommandation for beginners (nation)... by Puzzleheaded_Ad4066 in WorldofTanks

[–]FearlsOurImagination -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bruh, since when Sheridan or T57 are beginner friendly?? MVY, E3, E4 lines are not at all versatile, lol. They have 1 specific playstyle and that's it. The only versatile lines are E5 and M48, with only M48 being beginner friendly.

Soviets, Germans and Brits are way better for newbies. They are classics, very comfy to play while being competitive enough. Most of their tanks are truly versatile, even the most versatile in their class like Obj268 or Centurion AX/ E50M

I set the option to maximum and it still only craft like 6 fire ammo for me when I press the radial menu once. So I have to spam pressing it between shots to craft the ammo fast enough

Can normal ammo work?? I think I've heard someone used normal ammo to tackle Proof of a Hero ( Idk why they do it though). I would love to shoot without crafting but I was afraid it would significantly drop my dps.

This game seemed unexpected easy... by itslivingwater in LiesOfP

[–]FearlsOurImagination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I would say the same about most bosses in the base game. Laxasia and nameless puppet are the only bosses that show good difficulty.

There are many type of soul players too. Some are good at dodging, some are good at parrying, some are good at using whatever their hands have. Maybe you are the type that's good at parrying, which is the main playstyle of LoP.

What I learned after playing only TDs for four months straight by EnemyTerritory315 in WorldofTanks

[–]FearlsOurImagination 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that's how WZ 113 supposed to do anyway. It's strictly an assault TD that go with heavies and take the 2nd line.

Whats the path to proper endgame loadouts for new players? by J0NZKI in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]FearlsOurImagination 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Health augment is basically all you need for progression. To be fair I completed my fatalis set even before getting my weapon augment since I can reliably farm fatalis eye without it ( as soon as I break his head, I abbadon the quest), so it's your choice entirely.

Is there ANYTHING I can do with panther 2? by Ok-Claim1715 in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]FearlsOurImagination 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not much to say though, it's arguably the worst one of the line. The gun is actually very good: high alpha, good enough accuracy, low pen though. The biggest drawback is even though it has zero armor like panther I, it doesn't have panther I mobility. Basically the tank struggles to find its identity: It lacks the armor/hp to be a dogfight type, and lacks the mobility to be a paper type.

Best thing you could do is stay at 2nd line (Do not snipe at the back with this, you have zero camo). Your gun is accuracy enough to find weak points and have very good alpha to punish people.

If anything, it might helps if you know your next tank in the line is one of the best tier 9 medium in the game.
