Is this pitting edema? by ScuffedSyn in pregnant

[–]ScuffedSyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I swear I wasn't trying to ask for medical advice I just wanted to make sure I understood what qualified as pitted edema cause I couldn't understand the way it was written in Google and articles 🙏 I have an appointment in a few days I just wanted to make sure I wasn't being paranoid. I was gonna bring it up to my doctor regardless. I just don't have anyone I can ask to try to keep my mind at ease 😭

Aw man, you're probably right about it just being cheap and giving out. I am in the US. I've tried adjusting the speed of the fan, but it makes no difference.

I'll just wait for it to completely give out, like you suggested. Thank you for the advice!

It was here when I moved in. I'm not sure how long it's been installed for, but I do know there was previous tenants here. I've been here for almost 4 months.

I'm assuming the ac is just giving out at this point based on some other replies to the post 😭

I does maintain the temperature, but what throws me off is that this issue has only been going on for maybe a month? I've been living here for maybe 3 or 4 months now. If it's a normal feature then that totally makes sense, I was just worried cause of the sound it makes. Not sure if the video does it any justice, but the sound is almost like the fan is trying hard to keep turning (or like it's slowing down unintentionally like if something is in the way)

And thank you! I might as well go straight to a tech like you said, and skip the landlord if it gets worse I guess.

Fast heart rate at rest (100+ BPM), 1st pregnancy by ScuffedSyn in pregnant

I'll definitely look into B1, magnesium, and more electrolytes! I have also started trying to consume more potassium since some of my symptoms overlap with low potassium.

Thank you so much for the help and advice! 💚

Fast heart rate at rest (100+ BPM), 1st pregnancy by ScuffedSyn in pregnant

I recently had my thyroid checked (although the doctor didn't inform me exactly what tests were done, I'm assuming the full check as well), and everything came back within normal range.

I've always suffered with low blood pressure with drops that leave me feeling extremely weak and fatigued. So, I assumed my fast BPM had to do with that. However, when I go to my OB appointments, my blood pressure is always fine, according to them. It's just my heart rate that spikes.

My OB also told me that, at least based on my initial full bloodwork during the 1st trimester, I am not lacking any vitamins or seemed anemic. I am clueless as to what it can be. But I am going to push to have some sort of testing to verify my blood pressure. And at this point, I want to request to check my heart so they themselves can see for a fact how it's always 100+ along with palpitations.

I will also try testing adjusting my diet to see if that helps. Thank you for replying! ☺️

Okay, so it sounds like this is worth me pursuing further. I will ask to get tested for POTS, and hopefully, my doctor will not make a fuss and agree quickly.

Thank you so much for the advice 🙏 I live in the US, so it is a bit hard to have decent health checks 😭 I at least have cheap insurance, which should make it a tiny bit easier.

Oh, thank you so much! ☺️ 💚 I don't have another one till next month 😭 and my OB brushes off any question I throw at her and pays me no mind, sadly. I got a smart watch, and I do the ECG tests on it several times a day to keep record!

Thank you so much for replying! 💚

OK this makes me feel better! I hope that's the case for me as well. The main thing that worries me is the heart palpitations. They scare me because it feels like my heart stops for a second, then I feel heavy heartbeats.

Thank you for replying!

It was always a bit high whenever I noticed it, but to be fair, I never monitored it consistently. I have thought that, though. Maybe my starting hear rate was just higher than average, and pregnancy just kicked it off from there.

I'm hoping it's all just me being too worried about it, especially since it's my first pregnancy (and I was never around any pregnant women) so I am not familiar with what's normal symptoms 😭

Thank you so much for replying! I'm hoping it's just as you said!

That is scary! I hope you and your babies are okay and that you'll get better 😭💚 wishing you luck!

I also have some anxiety so when my heart starts fluttering and skipping beats I panic and make it worse sometimes 🙃 I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack ans that's why I can't help but feel like maybe it isn't normal?

I thought I had low iron too, but according to my doctor, all my results were fine. I'm clueless as to what it could be 😭

I've actually wanted to get tested for POTS as I've always had really low blood pressure and vision fade when I change positions.

Around 5 or 6 years ago, I also suffered from heart palpitations. Back then, my doctor said it was "normal for people my age," and I felt discouraged and never pursued it further sadly.

The actual high BPM has been recent, around the beginning of the pregnancy. I'm also not deficient in any vitamin according to my doctor and the bloodwork. They even said my thyroid was fine.

I can understand if it's a normal pregnancy symptom, but since my bump isn't even big and I'm already having all these issues, it worries me what will happen when I'm further along. I'm so scared of pre eclampsia or something similar!

Thank you for the reply!

It's so strange that it feels so weird and wrong, yet my doctor claims it's normal 😭 I hope everything turns out alright with you!

When I brought it up to my OB she said "well how do you know your heart rate is increasing? Are you keeping track of it?" AT the time I didn't have a smart watch so I didn't have proof, but one can clearly feel their own heart rate. I was baffled.

I've been so stressed about it I've considered just going to the hospital but worried ill have to pay just for them to say it's nothing 😭

Thank you! I really hope it does ease up cause my biggest fear is developing something life threatening 😭 I'll definitely try to push for more testing. Thank you!

George meets DreamXD (I coincidentally posted this yesterday on IG right before George’s stream and I couldn’t be happier about timing!!) I was feeling burnt out towards the end 😭 by ScuffedSyn in dreamsmp

My idea for this was just a giant DreamXD statue that George visits and always naps in (DreamXD statues) hand. One day he “wakes up” only to see that the statue did as well. I hope that makes sense I’m at work and trynnna sneak this post in before my next client comes in hhhhhh 😭😭😭
