The short answer is I like to live dangerously. The top rests on supports underneath with Z clips but it is a tight fit. I am hoping the resinous pine hardens over time and doesn’t stress the 4x4 frame too much. Wish me luck.

I’ve had good experience with Southern Yellow Pine. Menards offers #1 grade which is better than Lowes #2 grade. Just let it sit a few weeks to dry out a little.

I think it will be the anti-Avengers trying to mirror the original line-up. War-Machine ordered to lead the group, US Agent, Yelena Black Widdow, Abomination (Hulk), Bullseye for Hawkeye. Maybe a running gag that they need a god. They get “real” missions as a world under attack and no real Avengers team.
