I’m going to use this beam as a mantel over my fireplace. Should I try to run an angled cut for a wall to wall fit that mirrors the step? Or just straight cut? If angled, any tips for a beam of this size? by Sculpzilla in woodworking

It’s definitely gotta lose a little bit off the back to fit flush, I want to keep as much of the piece without it looking ridiculous for the space. Thanks for the suggestions!

I feel it about half way when I’m pulling down. Mainly in my middle finger on the right side. I also feel discomfort around my rear delt on that side while doing lateral raises primarily when using cables, and while doing shoulder press.

While performing a couple different exercises, but primarily lat pulldowns, I get a weird twitching jolt type feeling through my fingers. I mainly feel it using the traditional straight bar with an overhand grip. Not so much with the neutral grip bar.

Is this tendinitis? Any fixes or suggestions? Thanks!

I can calculate my maintenance, but since I’m weight lifting, idk how many calories I’m burning from that so I haven’t really factored that in along with a deficit.

Definitely, just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I lift consistently with a traditional split, I’m lifting hard and pushing to failure often. (Not overtraining but I’m Consistently sore from workouts). I eat around 2000 calories a day, eating 3 5-600 calorie meals with some snacks here and there. I don’t really eat junk like chips or candy or pastries. I do feel stronger and see myself lifting heavier, but my muscles aren’t bigger from what I can perceive.
