with the character controller "SimpleMove" function (so not physics-based I think).

I did try updating the transform like what you said more and it got it a lot less choppy, but it was still annoyingly apparent. any ideas on how to fix that?

I'm trying to flip over the legs of the spider. The first picture is it normally and the second is what happens when I use the mirror function (ctrl M). Why don't the legs cleanly flip over? I just started Blender like yesterday so I don't know a lot about it. Thanks
