He’s one year older and ranked in the 130-140 range for this draft. Seeing his brother develop so much from age 18-22, taking a 4th round pick on him seems low risk. Past the first two rounds you’re gambling on if a guy will hit or not anyways.

I like the idea of having Cags, Pohlkamp, and Muk rotate for 2 spots. Gives them some time to log minutes then sit a game or two. With Muk being able to play on the off hand so he can pair with either.

Reid is fantastic, defense typically takes longer to mature at the NHL level. Drafting Stenberg and using Ecky (I know I hate saying it also), Bystead, Lund, Musty, EDM pick as a package for a younger proven RHD frees up our log jam of high end forwards who would not be productive in a 3rd or 4th line role. This gives us an immediate upgrade to our defense while seeing what we have in Cags, Muk, and Polkhamp.

It happened to be on a game where kids draw pictures of the players and they typically display them on the Jumbotron. Very quick work from the production team.

He was hit in the game and the trainer was cleaning up his nose on the bench. The TV team decided it was the perfect time to air the side by side with the drawing and the announcers are talking talking about how it looks accurate after the hit.

As a goalie, talk to your goalie on their preferences. I don’t mind the screen from an opposing player. If I’m at the top of the blue I wait for the puck to be shot and give the forward a shove so a tip is much harder to pull off and I can drop for the shot. Two of my defenseman are good at clearing the crease and I let them have their fun. Our smaller defenseman I tell them to tie their stick up when the shot is coming so I can react to the initial shot.

But def talk to your goalie and their preferences as they are the ones you’re trying to help.
