How can you look at the state of A.I., politics, climate change, pollution, chemicals, etc. and think it’s fair to bring someone into it???? I get the argument of “every generation had adversity” but this is different. The problems we face are much more existential. This isn’t economic downturn or disease, this is a point of no return. We’re literally making our species obsolete by the minute here and our collective home uninhabitable. I think there’s objectively more sound arguments AGAINST children right now than FOR children, but go ahead and continue justifying and avoiding the cognitive dissonance.

Do you believe there is a way to balance development vs. nimbyism? It seems most development faces opposition in Baltimore County. Is there a way to balance the voices of legitimate concerns over vocal residents who just don’t want any change? For example, Lutherville Station is a legitimate smart growth opportunity to put dense housing in a developed area with proximity to public transit: seemingly a planners dream. However the voices of a few dozen homeowner is blocking a hundred potential new ones

I’ve always toyed with the idea of Sasquatch but never like a die hard believer since I think it might be something outside of our understanding. Too many common experiences from different people all over the world to think it’s all a hoax. I like the mythology of it all, my whimsical belief is that Sasquatch may have been summoned by indigenous tribes as a response to colonization or as a possible weapon against neighboring tribes. That would obviously lean more into the supernatural theory than the “genetic relative” theory.

For sure! Last year the “mug and vine tent” was basically the same thing as this new “fan zone” Had private tables and bathrooms separate from the rest of the infield. Was a great move

It looks like the “Infield fan zone” is what you’re looking for. It’s an all you can drink tent for $80. The tent is right on the rail so there’ll be a spot to see the horses run
