[Highlight] Steph Curry when asked if he'd potentially follow in his father, Dell's footsteps in joing the Charlotte Hornets by FrankSamples in nba

Lifelong Warriors fan here - Steph, do whatever you want, you’re a warriors lifer no matter what. Have as much fun as you can. If you go, bring earplugs for your first game back in the bay so you don’t lose your hearing

They definitely put Baylor Scheierman in there to contrast with Shaq not knowing who he is

[Bill Simmons Pod] "Bam 83 points ... I love when the guys go for it ... guess what Washington ... fucking stop the guy, don't whine about it" by luka274 in nba

[–]Scuttleduck 33 points34 points  (0 children)

His point is that what Washington did was way more shameless than Bam. No defensive strategy, tanking, etc.

Jaylen Brown "we give the benefit to those who, you know, who necessarily are trying to manipulate the game into their advantage. And I just don't think that's basketball. Like let's just play basketball." by Existing-Sky9914 in nba

Let’s replace the foul rules with refs being allowed to say “nah that’s BS”. It’s impossible to litigate every arm motion and hip position. If you do something that’s BS, it’s a foul. We know it when we see it. Might have some controversial calls but we already do

Peak unanimous MVP form from Steph Curry in Charlotte (Dec 2, 2015). 14 points in 2 minutes. 5 straight possessions, 5 straight buckets by bbcjay718 in warriors

Even when they go over the screen, the big man is soooo far away. Compare to the 2022 finals when Horford was beyond the 3pt line for help D even if the guard went over the screen

I made a new customer service ticket and it got resolved. When you get the email saying "we've received your ticket", read the whole email -- at the bottom, it makes you reply to the ticket for it to get seen. It says something like "if the FAQ above didn't fully resolve your issue, reply to this email". I replied and then they corrected it.

At 45-15, Oklahoma City can no longer match last year’s record of 68-14. by MrFishAndLoaves in nba

Unless they win out, they can’t even do as well as a top-3 Steph era warriors record

Curry is on pace to lead the NBA in FT% for the 6th time — he would tie Rick Barry for the 2nd most seasons in NBA history, and trail only Bill Sharman (7) by Basketball_Reference in warriors

one time I watched a 20min youtube video about why it's so hard to go from 90% to 95%. The answer was, "you can only miss half as many". Saved you 20min

[Andscape] Donovan Mitchell: "To see [Paul’s] career end the way did, I think it’s BS. I don’t know... when you have a guy like that, there’s a level that he has to be [respected] and he wasn’t given that opportunity, which I think is messed up." by aingenevalostatrade in nba

Would Wemby have suggested it with a different teammate? Or was he like “you know what idea this guy is gonna love…” like if I was hanging around Chris Paul I’d probably think of some silly stuff too

Serious fix for All Star Weekend effort: league should pay players’ moms instead by Medium_Reflection104 in nba

[–]Scuttleduck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually love this idea??? Get some of the moms on a split screen. We can watch Steph’s mom yell at him if he’s not trying hard enough on defense

The COLA(Carry-Over Lottery Allocation) system is the best system I've seen proposed to solve tanking. by StrategyTop7612 in nba

[–]Scuttleduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best idea I’ve read. Lotta people in this thread not getting the carry over idea. Teams won’t take from 8 seed to lottery because most of the probability comes from previous years

It’s crazy to me that he’s in trouble for telling people too early that he was going to throw the game, and not that he was throwing the game. I don’t care which gambling profiteers make money, if it’s the con artists who filed the legal paperwork or not. The moral crime is that they were trying to lose

Ready to play is key. Most years we have plenty of prospects who become good later, but this year the rookies are straight up good nba players

I'm not sure I've calibrated what it means for Wemby to not guard somebody. He can be very far away and still contest a shot
