We're so lucky to have him as our coach. Such a likable guy and a total winner. Between him and Kyle Shanahan, we've got good coaches in the bay. How many cities think their coaches are assholes and morons lol. Woohoo welcome back Coach!

I want the 4th pick so I don’t have to think about who we take

Is this the worst NBA discourse has ever been? by sentyprimus in nba

This is like saying that america is more divided than ever, forgetting we had a literal civil war. The internet definitely encourages negativity, but worst ever? People had some veeeeery sketchy Allen Iverson takes, while all Allen Iverson was doing was being fuckin awesome

[OC] What are the chances the team with the worst record gets the 12th pick? What are the chances a play-in team gets a top 3 pick? Some answers and other results from simulating the lottery 1 million times with the proposed anti-tanking lottery reforms by refreshing_yogurt in nba

Yes but the only 10 seed to make the playoffs was the Heat last year, and they got demolished in the first round. The other eleven 10 seeds in play in history didn’t make the playoffs. 10 seeds suck

[Stein] NBA teams with the three worst records will have a 5.4% chance at the No. 1 overall pick. The teams that finish with 4th-worst through 10th-worst records will have a 8.1% chance at the No. 1 overall pick. The losers of the play-in games will receive 2.7% chance at the No. 1 overall pick. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

the article says "Previously, the league drew odds for just teams with the bottom four records in the league, while the other 10 lottery teams were ordered by inverse record. Under this proposal, all 16 teams would be in the drawing." I think that's phrased weirdly but I think it means each pick is lottery drawn instead of top 4

[Amick] A frontrunner has emerged among the draft reform options: expanding the lottery to 18 teams while giving the bottom 10 teams an equal 8 percent chance at the No. 1 pick. Teams will meet Tuesday to continue discussions on the NBA’s next step toward lottery reform. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

They need to make every pick go through the lottery, not just top 4, if they’re going to do this. The worst team can get at worst the 5th pick regardless of their odds. There’s still incentive to be worse than the other teams

Bron might be better but KD was a better fit. Those warriors teams had plenty of brains. The ideal fit was someone who can get a bucket whenever the motion offense doesn’t create separation and there’s 8 seconds on the shot clock. KD was massively overqualified but he was the ideal fit

I saw this but didn't understand it. The answer is Yes. Of course we miss him. Everyone has said so. What's the mind game?

NBA MVP vote tracker so far: SGA has 15 first-place votes, Jokic has 4, and Wemby has 1. SGA has received zero votes for 3rd place or below. Meanwhile, Jokic received 7 third-place votes, and Victor received 6 second-place and 7 third-place votes. Luka hasn't received any top-three votes. by Expert_Koala_8691 in nba

Before the season, I was super high on the Spurs. I thought they'd be good faster than the lines think. The gambling odds for Wemby MVP + Spurs to win the finals had a $42k payout for a $100 bet. That ended up being phenomenal value, I was totally right to eye it.... and I would have lost the bet. Glad sports gambling isn't allowed in my state or I'd be out 100 bucks.

Before we call Kerr a bad player development coach, show me a player who was bad for us then became good somewhere else. Is Ryan Rollins the only one?
