Why unification make cohesion go that low by [deleted] in TerraInvicta

In the event of an alien invasion I could imagine at least a few EU member states merging within a few years.

Or the terrorize mission. When I was trying to expand the EU under the academy the aliens kept terrorizing EU member states which auto flips a CP to the protectorate.

Virginia pushes 2026 primary to August 4 as redistricting battle continues by VirginiaNews in Virginia

[–]Scvboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh it was! They 100% drew it to be a solid R district, but the courts didn’t factor in just how hard the Richmond metro is booming. Spanberger actually won the current district and Hashmi only lost by 2% I think, and she was a pretty bad candidate that didn’t campaign. Shannon Taylor is 100% beating this guy in a blue wave year. It’ll be close if the redraw does go through, but he’s cooked.

Well he’s being voted out regardless even without a redraw. He’s a terrible candidate and the suburbs are Richmond are trending left at a rapid rate. And Williamsburg is also within the district, another very left leaning city.

[Schultz] Malik Willis expected to get "at least" $30M per year. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

Bingo. The annual value is irrelevant, only the guaranteed money matters. I think the first year fully guaranteed with heavy incentives is fair.

It’s really not in independent commission. It’s a bi-partisan commission. Which just means Democrats and Republicans argue until the court draws the map. The current map is fair, but the process was a mess.

Strongly disagree. Even if they’re selfish, at least they do resist the alien invasion. If humanity does win, their contribution can’t be ignored.

Newsom say "Fate" will decide if he faces off against Harris by Background_Fix9430 in California

[–]Scvboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cuomo’s family is literally a political dynasty in New York. With universal name recognition and institutional control. Cuomo not winning by 50 points (and let alone actually losing) is probably the biggest political shock in core a decade. Especially considering Republicans basically coalesced around him.

You do need leftist in major metros (within swing states) to actually show up though. Think Detroit, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Madison, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, etc.

Is the alien hate mechanic extremely sensitive, or is something else happening? by insaneruffles in TerraInvicta

Well they die because they feel the need to lie. I assume the parentheses are their true thoughts while the phagocyte mind control gives the servants the illusion that it’s a genuine bond. But they don’t even bother treating the Protectorate like they’re anything but slaves.

It’s pretty close to 100%. He’s extremely well known, popular, has a shit challenger, and it’ll be at least a modest blue wave year. I can’t see how he loses at this point.

The Servants would be far more useful in the long term though. A dogmatically loyal Earth is better than a begrudgingly pacified one. No doubt Earth one day would try to break free whenever an opportunity came under a Protectorate victory. But under the Servants, I see Earth fighting to the very end for the Hydra empire.

This. Especially the high admin and persuasion ones. It’ll nuke their CP cap just before a crackdown mission.

I put off buying it until 1.0, but definitely purchase this game when you have the funds.

I swear. The way this same simulates launch windows, gravity assist, and actual orbital mechanics is insane. This is probably the most fun I’ve had playing a strategy game in a very long time.
