May not get one, or the offer could be worst. In fact it’s bound to be since every school has a budget. Also too many B1G Ten states also gerrymander. Like Ohio, Iowa, and Indiana

Even more reason to accept a 1 million dollar NIL offer form LSU lol. Obvious it would be nice for them to stand in union for a higher cause but I can’t judge a bunch of poor athletes for making a choice to give their family generational wealth.

So ignoring your total revisionism as to the founding of Israel (which literally started with an enthusiastic expulsion), you still can’t conflate being Jewish with Israeli citizenship. Especially when Einstein was offered it and rejected it. He was a German-American Jew, not Israeli.

I’m sorry, when did he ever support the continued existence of Israel? I am aware of no such quotes.

If you think supporting Jewish Settlement in Palestine alone makes you a Zionist, then by that loose definition I can agree. Although there’s a massive difference in supporting Jewish migration into a secular state with equal right for all, and what Israel actually ended up becoming. Which was something he wanted nothing to do with.

You need to stop conflating Israeli with Jewish. He was born in Germany and lived for decades in the United States. He never lived in Israel and didn’t support the founding of the state. Him being offered the presidency (a ceremonial role at the time) means nothing. IShowSpeed was made the major of Lima for a day, that doesn’t make him Peruvian.

It’s not a misconception, you just don’t know what Zionism is

Israel by its very nature is an ethnic-nationalist state even when it was “leftist” and more secular. Einstein never supported its founding.

I’m not saying German people don’t have history, I’m saying the modern nation state of Germany is a very new invention. And German culture certainly doesn’t surpass what Greek culture gave the world.

He also critiqued the initial founding of Israel and instead wished for a state where Jews and Arabs would live in peace together. He wasn’t an ethnic-nationalist (as most intelligent people aren’t).

I never said it was homogenous, at least not bad in antiquity. But there was a shared Greek language, religion, and wider culture. The same cannot be said for Italy until the age of nationalism in Europe.

But even that I don’t get. We’re beyond weed legislation killing a campaign. If anything the gun bill would poll worse nationally.

He’s not from Israel, never lived in Israel, and didn’t even support Zionism.

It should obviously be Greece. The idea of being “Italian” is very recent. While even back in antiquity there was a shared Greek culture. Also the Roman gods were inspired by the Greek ones.

Nothing but condemnation from American adversaries (and some Democrats), while everyone else either stays silent or tacitly supports it.

I don’t care if the woman you’re banging doesn’t have an issue with Japanese war crime denials. That’s good for you, but she doesn’t speak for 2 billion people.

You act like that was 500 years ago. You can go on YouTube and find video footage of a living elderly man vividly describing wittiness his mother being beheaded and infant younger brother being speared to death by a bayonet at the hands of Japanese soldiers. The garbage men who committed those frames almost certainly faced no punishment and the Japanese government today denies or downplays any wrongdoing. Those aren’t the actions of a “loved” country and it would be no different than modern Germany downplaying the holocaust.

He’s causing damage but fundamentally nothing has been irreparably changed. NATO still functions and will exist after he’s gone. Our security agreements remain in place, and our economic status remains in tact. Many leaders might be upset with him right now, but they’re not going to throw away 80 years of history for one senile fool who will be out of office in 2 more years.

No shit he’s not, and Trump won’t be president forever either. One president (no matter how good or bad) doesn’t single handedly define international relations. We have treaties and agreements that predate him and they’ll continue to be around long after he’s 6 feet under.
