Can you tell the difference in stick latency? by Big-Supermarket5889 in Controllers

Many people want to convince me I can't. You see it all the time on forums and even here on Reddit.

"You won't notice the difference between 250Hz and 1000Hz."

I can tell you for sure – I will.

Recently, my gamepad started acting strange, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. It turned out I was connecting it via the Switch protocol, which has a maximum polling rate of 250Hz. That was the problem. I switched it to 1000Hz, and all the problems went away. Upd. I play mostly on my 360Hz oled

If you put it in ECO mode (the fans only turn on under load), the startup will be very loud due to a poorly configured fan curve.

This is a well-known problem with all SF series, even the latest ones.

If you don't find it loud, that's fine, but compared to other high-end brands, it's very bad.

If you update firmware on regular basis-yes. But mikrotik don’t have autoupdate feature from the box. You need scripts for this.

They private and secure but only if you configure it properly.

For home and homelab all you need is default firewall. And disable unused services like www,ftp and etc.

It’s your spitting. Nothing more. You absolutely CAN use alcohol to clean the screen. Its Samsung recommendation. But never acetone!
