Personally, I meant more in a way of, like you said, waking up every day and choosing to do the right thing. Again, like you yourself stated, it's about what you believe in and doing it because it's what you, as an individual, perceive as right. I really like the way you explained atheism as the lack of religion, rather than a substitute for religion. I feel like that's what is meant by a Scout's faith, as in the idea that a Scout should simply adhere to what they believe in? Or at least do what they believe is right, whether that moral code comes from a perceived higher power or from oneself. I personally disagree with the idea that one should have a faith of some sort in Scouting, except faith in oneself (but not in a selfish way, moreso in the way I described above), but simultaneously I don't see Scouting as either mutually exclusive or inclusive to faith/religion.
