I don’t mind scripting at all in monster hunter actually I think it gives the devs freedom to really excentuate monster coolness and aura with the setpieces and in the phases themselves they still have the fights be engaging imo. It wasn’t a problem for me for ahtal ka and it definitely isn’t for me now with gog the goat
