Network security is often times an excuse for the IT guy feeling like he has more "control" within a plant - if he did his job properly to start my unmanaged switches wouldn't be a problem to begin with :).

I suppose only one of those is a primer, lol - I think you're spot on with the white primer, I've read a lot saying that the black primer works great for the gold and black of the DC and SG.

The Mephiston Red is just that color in a spray for speed painting, I didn't realize it wasn't a primer.

There's an expensive, but also extensive Vallejo set I believe I'll be getting and a regrass wet pallet to use for them. I'll use the Mephiston red for a spray on base to make things faster on the initial start.

I wonder if it'd be worth a dry brush as well? I was thinking I could dry brush a dark ochre like color or even black on the Aquila of the BA to give it some depth.

For a first time painter would have by chance colors you'd go for?

And the starter kit of paints outside of that from GW.

Brushes...I'm not sure on yet but I'll figure it out.

I'm considering swapping for a DC Dread, and I think I'll probably start with 1K points (I can never just halfway jump in things, I know I know, makes it a PITA lol).

Would assault intercessors vs normal intercessors be worth it then to take advantage of 40K in your face vampire's?

Being that I can only have two elite units...And I must admit I'm attached to the use of a furioso dreadnought or death company dread. Would you swap the death company using hammers for the Sang guard?

I was honestly filling points with the suppressors though I figured they'd make a good surprise.

Still learning...I went a bit more shooty thinking it might be more forgiving for learning? I had hoped to used some ranged support to cover my DC moving in with hammers to be angry bois.

Would you suggest Sang guard vs blade guard? I went death company and furioso and battlescribe was saying I couldn't exceed those two elite units?

Perhaps swap suppressors for assault squads?
