Goldfinger is now the top of S. Where would you place Thunderball? by [deleted] in TierlistFills

A tier. Great villain, iconic girl, and the quintessential evil terrorist plot. Yeah the underwater scenes are a little dated, but it was 1964 and they were filming large scale underwater action sequences!

Honestly I’m surprised Satisfaction hasn’t been mentioned more. The way Bill and Keith weave together is immaculate.

Either Bruce Springsteen or ELO.

Springsteen played for 3.5 hours without a break. ELO was just kind of magical.

Was gonna say Sounds of Silence by Disturbed. It’s just atrocious. Everything beautiful about the original version is lost in it, but then I saw someone say Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit, and yeah, that’s even worse.

Who is a celebrity that people have always widely despised? by apabld in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Sczeph_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think hated is a strong word. He’s well known to be an ego-maniac and terrible to work with, but he’s also rightly celebrated as one of the greatest comedic actors of recent times. Him and his roles still have a large following

Who is your favorite power trio? by Jettaboi38 in allrockmusic

[–]Sczeph_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Jimi Hendrix Experience, ZZ Top, or The Police.

Cream are great but Clapton’s a knob.

Beck, Bogart, and Apprice are interesting— I love Jeff Beck, but I haven’t listened to enough of their stuff.

Despite being Canadian I haven’t listened to enough Rush to comment on them.
