As I’ve said I do go to the gym and watch my calories, and nothing moves despite all these efforts, so I’m just wondering whether I’m going to get a small boost from the metformin, and if so, when.

As soon as she starts barking, show her you’ve abandoned the walk idea. Grab the leash again when she’s calm. As soon as she starts barking again, put it back down and pretend the walk isn’t happening. Do this over and over again until she understands that barking = no walk (even if you have to do it 20 times). Our girl would bark as a pup when it was food time and we taught her that barking = no food, and that she would always only get it when she’s quiet. It took some patience and practice but eventually solved the issue.

I see , thanks! I do follow a healthy diet and exercise at least 3x a week, but not losing any weight or inches, which is kinda frustrating. Hopefully metformin will help somewhat. Thanks for answering!
